Dadar station is tooo worst there is no respect for outers if local people wont ware mask no will question if outers are wearing mask then also they are charge fines for us saying that we didnt wear our mask properly if we ask for the slip they r not giving us and they are keeping that slips with them and they r threatening us in dadar station, writing amount on slip 170 and asking amount to give 200 ruppes and they dont give that slip too , these special rule is only for outer for local peoples no rules for them

Very bad experience in Dadar ticketing counter three Days ago (25/2/18 ) Im visited in counter numbers 7 &10 regarding monthly pass renovation. I requested accept my card payment but he is not accept My card payment I try 2nd counter , same issue . so I meet station master and shared with him but not positive response.

One of the over crowded station of Western and central railway. Having a terminal also many long rout trains are originate from here and having stoppage at Dadar. During peak hours, crowd is awesome. Enough sitting arrangement and ticket counter is here. Rest room is here but not so clean and not enough in number in view of huge passenger boarded on this station. Escalator , wheel chair accessibility is available. In local surrounding many market, flower and clothes market. Need many improvement.

It was great to see Google WiFi at railways station and the speed was just awesome many works were done in a short span of time and many other facilities like wheelchair accessibility , restroom, waiting place are all well looked after and things seems to change and the station has got better alot from before.

Historic Dadar station in a very crowded railway junction for Mumbai local and mail express. Its a sea of passengers on platform during peak hours is moment to see how Mumbaikar struggles in his day to day life.

An utter mess. Super crowded with people just standing around, people harass you, almost no signage, and no staff to answer questions except in one window at the entrance. We asked the man in the wi Dow at the entrance where to find the 3 pm to Ahmedabad. He said walk over the bridge to track 6 or 7. We walked over the bridge, there was only tracks 1-5. We walked back and asked him again. He said track 3. We went to track 3. The platform sign was showing a different train. We went back upstairs, saw the electronic sign for our train, and proceeded to look for any staff person anywhere who could tell us where platform 7 was. As no one who was standing around speaks English, nobody could do more than gesture in a vague direction. We finally figured out that track 7 is right next to the entrance to the train station. You do not need to take he bridge. You turn right before you enter the station and walk into the platform. But as there is, again, no signage anywhere, and no one seems to know anything, we finally made it to platform 7 15 minutes late and 45 minutes after we had first asked where we could find the train to Ahmedabad. Of course, there was still no staff anywhere on the platform, even though there was a full train waiting to depart. Impossible. Don’t try to be a hero - just take a flight to your destination. It’s not worth it.

Travelling to wetern line from vashi via dadar station will save more than 15 mins, as compared to harbour line.

One of the main suburban station as well as station for express, super fast trians in Mumbai. Many long running trian such as Dadar to Chennai Egmore super fast express starting from here only. Also all express and super fast long running trains have stop here which are mostly starting from CST, Mumbai Central. Also for suburban trian passenger change from Western to central line vise versa should do here. Example one has to go from Kalyan to Mumbai Central or Kanjur Marg to Mumbai Central he should get down at Dadar station while he was traveling from Kalyan to CSTM or Kanjuy Marg to CST train and he should change the plat form through over bridge and has to come at Western line plate for. From there he can get trian towards Church Gate. He should get down from Church Gate train suburban train at Mumbai Central. Also application Harbor line like trians and trains from Panvel those who wanted travel towards Western line ( Mumbai Central, Marine lines etc)

Very important and big Railway Junction Station. Connecting Western and Central Railways of Indian Railways. Escalator is there. Very very over crowded all the time... platfroms are narrow and Foot Over Bridges (FOB) are also over crowded. Alighting and boarding the train is a serious issue over here. Both the outside surroundings (East & West) of Dadar Station is very dirty and full of unwanted people for a busy Railway Station. Beggars, Hotel Brokers, Taxi wallas, Vegetable Vendors, Hawkers, Old & used thing sellers, everybody is there to solicit....

The heart of Mumbais local network as both Central and Western meet here. Always jostling with tremendous crowd, the passenger traffic is well taken care of with lots of foot over bridges, (especially the newly built wide ones) plentiful ticket counters, few escalators and lifts being newly constructed. Theres a baggage storage facility. Staff is always available onsite. Transit is also available 24x7. The roads are congested and narrow, although the new zero hawker legislation has been a great help. Like any other station however it lacks cleanliness and the washrooms here are definitely not a good place to visit.

Dadar seems to house a huge number of passengers from down south, extreme east and north. Though it provides a Central Railway System it didnt satisfy the restroom facilities.I mean that there is no enough of them to accommodate this huge variant of people from all over the country. This must be looked as a National perspective which is seeking Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Scheme.
