Authentic place to buy handmade blue pottery in Multan. Very good environment. Variety of handmade products. Polite and professional staff. Easy to access. Enough parking for the customers. Display room inside the vocational institute. One must try if visiting the Multan. One of my friend from Brunei asked me to buy traditional products for him. Who came to know about the Multan and traditional products from Qatar airways website. Thanks to Qatar Airways for well describing the city of Saints, Multan.

If anyone is interested in Multans traditional blue pottery, then its a place for you. Amused to see such a big area where the pots are made and then painted in such a beautiful way. A variety of very reasonable priced pots are available there. One of reason to like multan is its blue pottery.But this place needs air conditioning ,so that customer incoming will increase and a proper show room to display this art, to attract a number of people.

They have different varieties of blue pottery but only draw back is their finishing. Some of products are broken or damaged. You have to check each product. Prices are fixed.

Institute of blue pottery, is located in the central part of the city. Ustad Alam, used to serve here for decades & breathed his last while serving institute of blue pottery. Students are taught the centuries old art, especially the Islamic calligraphy art. Now a days work on new building is in progress & a large portion has been built & now in use

Most designs were not present just as expected in a govt run institution. I recommend going to Manzoor Pottry instead as he has all types available and at comparative rates. The plus point if IBP is that they open at 9 in morning but then they close at 3 pm sharp. So plan ur visit accordingly
