Beautiful historical garden built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in Lahore. This garden have three 3 floors. Planted with many kinds of trees and plants with beautiful landscape grass garden and fountain and water canal. White marble and red stone is used in this garden. Beautiful place to visit in Lahore.

The Shalimar Gardens were laid out as a Persian paradise garden intended to create a representation of an earthly utopia in which humans co-exist in perfect harmony with all elements of nature. Construction of the gardens began in 1641 during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan, and was completed in 1642. In 1981 the Shalimar Gardens were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site gzas they embody Mughal gardens 8g design at the apogee of its development.
