There was a time when Ferozsons was the most famous and biggestbookshop in Lahore now they are just a simple bookshop. Still i like to go there because they have pretty good selection and i would hate to see a bookshop close because of slow business

Once I was looking for Ghamidi book but didnt find there..I think, they mostly keep stock of books of their own publications

Ferozsons is an old and reputable name in the world of Pakistani book stores. Their DHA Z Block branch is decently sized. However, its collection isnt as big and wide ranging as some would hope. What it has instead is a rather tastefully chosen line up of books. Some very rare books often pop up here. I personally find it a treat to go here. Having said that, the book store is really for people who truly understand their books and authors. For them, it should be a treat to browse through their collection and discover some gems. If youre a casual reader and have little idea of what youre looking for - Youre better off Googling your thing before going. The staff can be unhelpful and clueless on most queries. Dont ask. Just look. Your eyes are better off than the staffs knowledge.Word of caution: Irrelevant books in labelled sections is a common sight. Be careful.

Decent selection of books, stationary section and an old-school section upstairs where you’ll find books in Urdu. The store is upgraded itself in competition to Liberty Books with an improved selection. Probably the best place for books in DHA right now.

All under one roof type of book-store - must visit for book-lovers n families with school going kids

The lady shop attendant in the basement is very helpful. I was looking for various sheets of different paper, like parchment/butter, vellum/tracing, calligraphy, and brown paper, found some, and not some, but because the attendant was so eager to be helpful that I didnt mind finding all I went there for.

Just like your everyday stationary store. Theres a dedicated area for fiction & non fiction books right when you enter the shop. Everything you need be it O & A levels books will be available here. Probably the best book store in Y Block DHA.

They had no variety. No popular magazines. It felt, only leftover books are being sold here. The books i bought were over priced as well. I will look for another book shop instead next time when i go for a book shopping.

The bookstore is of a very popular franchise in Pakistan. There are some things in which Ferozsons excel at and then there are some in which it flatout fails. The books are not in bad quality but look like theyre just freshly coming from the printhouse. This is good news to those who prefer mint conditioned books like as I do. New publications are readily available. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm. The management is also quite helpful. The bad aspects of the store are that it holds quite expensive stock and a limited one. Those two are the only negative things about this branch.

Was in Lahore for a brief visit from overseas and this was a well stocked bookstore where I got books worth PKR 18000.00for my children & myself. Mostly myself, but my kids were happy enough, too ! LOL.The only thing this place didnt have were my motorcycle magazines from the USA or UK.Enjoy your visit.Best Regards From The Bad Doctor.

Quality book publishers and book sellers. Ever since their iconic shop on the mall burned down, this store in the DHA seems to have become the main point of retail business although its much smaller in size. The top floor has the vintage Urdu books published by Ferozsons for children over the years. The basement has stationery etc (a bit expensive than the shops in H block). The collection of popular childrens authors in English - ground floor- is getting better at par with Liberty Books or Readings.

Ferozsons a quality name in book printing and Selling.It is Pakistans oldest Book printers, sellers and publishers.This shop is situated in DHA Z Block phase 3 Lahore. You can buy old and New books. Family, Kids and Personal books. Syllabus and out syllabus books.Basically this shop is not a printing press but it is an outlet of Ferozsons pct Ltd.

Good collection of books in English and Urdu. Dedicated children books sections alongwith Islamic books section. Great range of both Urdu and English classics. Books by publishers other than Ferozsons are also available. The downside is no discount even on books published by Ferozsons itself. The only discounted bookshelf contained cheap English novels of obscure writer and some guide books.Stationary shop is also there with good range of stuff, in the basement.

Ahhhhh, Ferozsons used to be the bookstore that reminded us of the days of our childhood. The place wed stay and browse and run between the isles.Now, however things have changed, segments have changed and so is the target market.With that now comes the challenge of keeping physical books as compared to e-books and such. I feel that the diminishing margins of selling books has led to a decline of courteous services such as relaxed return policies and a constantly updated inventory.I feel that this place used to be THE bookstore, but now has turned into a stone age heaven for those looking for antiques called books.

Kids books are very costly. Ilqa Publications similar books have approximately half price than those printed by Ferozsons.
