Institute of media studies (department of mass communication-old name) is one of the most important educational departments of university of the Punjab. During my studies in 2002-2004, the institute saw the deployment of Punjab university FM radio and beginning of semester system education. Many well known teachers have blessed this institution with their presence and blessings namely professor muggers uddin sheikh, professor maskeen hijazi, professor shafique Jallundhry, doctor Anwar Sajjad to name a few and many many more. Studying here is an unforgettable experience and learning.

First choice of Mass Communication and Media students. Also called Punjab Univetsity k mathay ka jhoomar aur Jannat. Will not tell you, why. You have to go there to get the answer.
