Good lab in lahore

It was a pathetic experience talking to them on phone right now. The person who picked up the phone sounded like some senior arrogant head of the organisation who later turned out to be the operator. He shifted my call to supposidly the concerned department or chair , who never attended call and it finally ended without any response from the operator again.That usually happens in govt deptts because everyone employed there, may be a peon, thinks himself to be the boss or a Govts Jawai(Son in Law).They think that even coming to office is a favour (Ehsan ) on the govt and pakistani nation.

Went for job fair, could not find any cafeteria or cooler to drink water. Auditorium was nice with comfy chairs and desks.

Its a very good place for research work regarding maintaining standard of various things of human usages.

I visited there for the first time . 681 scientists/engineers are working there out of which 80 are PhDs . they make different industrial apparatus, compounds and apparatus. I like the sheets made up of skins of ostrich, fish and different animals

These are perhaps Pakistans best laboratories for materials testing and for providing support to institutes and students at the same time. I has a chance to work with PITMAEM staff and they were very cooperative and competent. Overall PCSIR is doing a great job in recent R&D projects which have positive impact on the society, for instance developing explosive detector windows to place them on busy spots like malls, government organizations and even masjids. Also, their product for providing oxygen rich environment in public places and in buses etc was also brilliant.

Laboratories complex of various quality standards and gradings of various materials... however some labs need a lot of cleaning... various items are tested and graded according to quality standards

Good for commercial tests for different industries...Once I took samles of tap water for testing...They asked for some 14000 or so....Well who would go for that..

Well established, advanced, clean, secure and with all facilities for the customers and visitors, PCSIR is a place providing testing facilities of almost all natural and industrial products. This Lab is situated on ferozpur road and if you are going for testing of samples then you should enter from the gate adjecent to FC college and not from the one on ferozpur road side. Overall good experience.
