Its a local grocery market with a lot of vendors selling fruits and vegetables on their carts, meat shops, household items, fabrics etc. Probably not a good idea to visit here during peak hours or on a rainy day. Maybe you would get cheaper prices on groceries towards the end of the day after around 9 or 10 so that vendors get get fresh ones for their next day.

Very congested and dirty place. Water standing everywhere, shop keepers are not friendly,. Available things are of very inferior quality.

Kind of like a whole-sale market for cloth especially curtains and sofa sets. Approach is crowded not so clean but prices are cheaper. For someone like me who likes to survey alot before purchasing, this is definately worth visiting. Width of cloth at other markets is generally 1.5 meters but here its mostly 3 meters, thats where you start saving money and a little bargaining gets you the right price.
