Tried Dumba (Lamb) karahi and Dumba champ (short loin of lamb) tikka;Both tasted good but karahi was full of fats.Outdoor seating include ordinary table & chair or traditional charpai or takhtsPeshawari qehwa with shakkar (sugar) and lemon is also available.

One of the best dumba karahi in Lahore,Original and authentic. Dont expect any kind of discounts.

Mutton Karahi ( lamb meat with gravy)and lamb ribs bbq ( champ) was perfect. Most delicious and authentic design taste. No arrangements for families although it is not prohibited. Sitting on carpet. No chairs or table . Full desi mahool. Need to install good washrooms and basins.

Mza. Kmal ka taste or sitting area is good.

No spice just a little bit salt and black pepper and cooked on wood that make a smoky taste.

Favorite place to have weekend dinner with Namkeen tikka /sulemani dumba karahi . Visiting this place since last more than fifteen years. Taste and quality is still remain the same. I do recommend people who loves good food.

Ilyas dunba karahi is not on the main road, its just a little inside opposite to shaheen shinwari. Ambience is good for males only though they have a family hall. Waiting time for Karahi is 1 hour. Tikka & charbi ka tikka was excellent to taste. Karahi is recommended also. No compromise on taste. At the end, the qahwa with shakar makes your day.

Ilyas dumba karahi located on ravi road lahore.first of all if you are planning to come here then be prepared go wait atleast 2 hours.its a good treat if you love lamb with all its fat. they have really nice menu for all the lamb lovers but unfortunately not a good place for chicken lovers.enjoy you lamb with fat. and ne prepared to wait.

Everything is awesome here ,its a local dine fir truck drivers but nothing ordinary in taste , so try chomps barbq and minced mutton sulemani

This was a good eating place with open area..pure hygienic people avoid to come here as there is garbage in surroundings. At the food side.. dumba chaamp was good. Karachi was average and normal qeema was also on average. food was salty but taste and quality of meat was good.

Fresh food, tasty and healthy, food preparation time is almost 1 hr 30 mins. Try reach in bit early like 8pm other wise long queue. Sitting arrangement is normal and not very clean. But food quality is really good.

Place is very busy.poorly managed traffic in the evening.Ilyas dumba karahi is a famous place so we went to it...but came back highly disappointed...BBQ was not cooked properly ..it was half cooked and literally I had to chew with my full jaw power to swallow it...Karahi was the fame feat.So 2 stars from me.

I have good experience here, food taste was good however crockery was ordinary. Over all satisfactory experience. On 3 September 2020 Dumba price/kg was 1800 RS.

Taste was very very good. Access is difficult. You have to usually wait for 1.25 hours for your order to be ready for serving.Taste for the Barbecue is good but my favorite item is Dumba Karachi which is very awesome.Be aware there are 2 Ilyas Dumba Karachi one on the main road and one is between the streets. People claim 2nd one which is between the streets is original.Rate is 1600 per 1 kg for Karachi and Barbecue.

Loved the dumbha Karahi. If you want to go for Dumbha Karahi you need to wait for around 2 hours for your order.

Approach is very difficult if we travel through Minar-e-Pakistan to this spot.Better is to travel through Ring Road is quite shorter and easier.

Alyas Dumba Karahi is an awesome food point for beef karahi and things related to rammed and beef.

Its not real or old one. But this taste is better than old one. Its peshaweri karahi and sulemani karahi Both are too good. I suggest improved sitting Ara.

Ilyas Dumba Karahi is exceptional in taste, quality and price. Visiting them since last 5 years and everytime it turns out to be the best. Because there meat and ingredients are fresh.They serve both Sulemani and Shinwari Karahi. The difference in both is the gravy. Sulemani is purely made in dumba fat without tomatoes etc. And its highly recommended.Their dumba qeema has its own taste. You should not forget to try this.Dumba Tikka is king of all Tikkas, made without any spices in its own fat adds to the taste. Highly recommended.It takes almost 2 hours from meat cutting till serving so be ready.Parking is an issue there but you can always find some space after a little effort.Although families go there but not recommended because of the surrounding truck addas and truck walas.Price is charged on per kg meat basis which is 1500/kg, no matter you are eating karahi, qeema or tikka.A must go place if you like dumba meat.Caution: original Ilyas is on the backside of main street. The one on the main isnt original.

The food is delicious, but you need to be patient. This place is extremely crowded.

Good food but taste is not like the origional taste in Peshawar.

Excellent lamb karahi but it takes hour and half to prepare from scratch with meat of your own choice or if you are short on time you can pick one of the semi prepared ones.

Absolutely marvelous taste . Made with heavenly Recipie and all the essential gradients required to suffice the local taste buds .a open air cooking at the side of the Road with dust full of variable grains flying over it eventually becomes a part of dish itself and relishes the taste with uniqueness. I might be exaggerating but the foodies wont get a taste of lamb curry other than this place . Not recommended for families , sophisticated ppl preferring sublime ambience and ppl on diet . But sure this place worths a try and I bet you will enter a perpetual debate of this place is second to none .

They have fresh lamb meat available and you can choose the meat you want to be served. They cut the piece and weigh in front of you.All the seating is open with both chair-table and floor type “Palang” seating to get a better touch of tradition.It is Located on the famous truck adda on the outskirts of Lahore on the GT Road. The area is extremely dirty with garbage and litter between each other restaurant. Sometimes the smell can be so unbearable that you have to cancel your order and leave.The food is usually great, with traditional spices and stuff. But other times it just puts you off the mood with its blandness and raw smell.There’s a great deal of wait here. At least an hour for your order to get ready and be served at your table. May take upto 2 hrs.Tip: Order ahead on phone before coming and get your order number. This will significantly reduce the time you have to wait.

The place is located in truck yard (Adda) behind Data Darbar area. There are several restaurants with the same name but this is the biggest and busiest. It is just a big openair affair with no walls or doors but there is a large canopy tent under which they cook and sit. There are several Lahore Manjey to sit on while eating. No family area as such. The food scene strictly depends upon taste and preference. This restaurant is famous for salt mutton casserole. Afghan bread ids baked fresh. Hygiene is non existent. Take your own water. Our is open til wee hours of night.

There are 2 Ilyas Dumba Karahi in the truck adda area. This one which is in the back and not on the main road is the authentic one. Mr Ilyas himself is available here. Sulemani Karahi & Tikka are to die for. You should be well versed in meat selection as it is half the fun. Nice and friendly staff and 3 storey sitting area. Ample parking. Better to take ring road and take the minar-e-pakistan exit.
