This place is simply nostalgic. I didn’t know about this place but one of my friends take me there because I am a scenery photographer. I was stunned to see the architecture. Some of the blocks will also give you the Scottish feel. The detailing in the buildings of this school is simply wonderful and the management manages this beautiful institute very well. Do visit this place.!

One of the Historical Institution in Punjab. It was established in 1883. It was started as a Middle School in the building of Anarkali Girls High School. The present building of the School was constructed in 1887. The School was upgraded as a High School and shifted from Anarkali Girls High School to its present building in 1888. The Junior Wing was started in 1944. The School has a unique building which was included in the list of National Heritage of Pakistan.

I studied here late in 1996 the construction of building was very unique and elegant, having a huge play ground. Teachers were well educated but some of them were using abusive language too. I remembered the small canteen and they sell naan tiki Lovely memories

Excellent and best Govt School in Lahore during 1970s and early 1980s.

I was a student of this proud school and graduated in 1964. Later went to Government College and after that I was in Pakistan Army as an officer , now retired and live in USA.Even today when I think of anything...it is Government Central Model High School.Insha’Allah when I visit Pakistan, I will make sure to visit my school which made me stand out in this world.

My father, all 4 brothers and myself studied from this prestigious institution.This school has contributed too much in our lives and we all owe too much to teachers of this school.It is a government school but its educational standards were very high and almost every year all boards have top positions from this school.Long live this institution and great Respect for all teachers there.

I studied there from 1977 to 1987. Last class was 10th j. I always miss my teachers( kareemi sb , basharat ali Jonda sb and all others), and school fellows. I want to join group of 1987 batch, if this exists on FB.

My alma mater. I studied here from 1967 to 1972 and did my matriculation in 1972. The best Government school at that time. People used to feel pride in sending their sons to this school. Standard has since deteriorated over the time and now it is perhaps in no competition with so many commercialized schools in the city.I love this place as it played a major role in building foundations of my personality as well as future academic studies.

One of the oldest schools in the history of Lahore. Every year the students of said School got major positions in Lahore board. One or more than one members of a family have studied there. Students of the said schools have reached on the top positions of all Govt and private sectors. Some renowned religious personality has also qualified from the same school. School is located on the main area of Lahore. Its also approachable from metro bus service. Students of this school proudly introduced themselves as a student of Central Model School.

One of harvard in Govt schools, there are many facilities available there. LED are installed in every classroom. There are saperate blocks for every class e.g 6th class block, 7th class block.

Amazing photo of the Central Model School gates has brought back my childhood memories. I studied there from I guess 1976 - 1982 and left mid way through Year 8 class and moved to England. I would love to see more photos of the school posted here. If someone has them then please upload them and make a former student happy and proud.Salaam.

Used to be one of the best schools of Lahore from Partition to Late 80s. After which the private schools dominated the city and government also closed its eyes for the betterment of this great old institution which provided the cream geniuses of Lahore.

Studied there 1972 _77. Used to be top class school in those days. First 20 positions in the Matric board exam used to be straight from this school. No other school of Lahore was anywhere close to its standard.
