I went there today with my family at 7:30pm. After I entered McDonalds I was asked to site outside in open sitting area. The staff told me that they are closed so we will have to sit outside. They were serving other customers there too and taking orders outside. I asked them why is the restaurant closed, they told me that DHA management has asked them to close restaurants. After sitting there, I placed my order to the supervisor and our food was served. After eating my 4 year old daughter asked me to go to the washroom. My wife took the daughter and asked the staff to open the door so she could take the kid to the washroom. But the supervisor said it is not allowed. My wife came back and later I tried to talk to the staff my self. They again said that it is not allowed to go inside as the restaurant is closed. I called the supervisor and asked him why are they not allowing. He said we have orders and cannot let anyone in. Later, I called the branch manager who was already sitting inside. He came out and I asked him too. He gave the same reply. I told him if he needs to go to the washroom or if staff needs to go to the washroom will he also not allow his own staff? he said we are closed. I asked why are there customers sitting here and why you asked us to sit when you are closed. He did not listen. I then had to rush home in a hurry as my daughter had to go to the washroom. Now this may sound like a small issue, but what if some adult was in a hurry and he/she had to go. The staff was just not helpful at all.This is really bad customer service and very pathetic behavior. DHA needs to change its policy of closing restaurants at 7:30pm and McDonalds needs to advise their staff to be more helpful when they are so busy collecting cash even when they are officially closed.

Who doesnt know about the Y-Block MacDonalds.With the new outside seating and the new landscaped Sheeba Park, its a must for most.I enjoy the spicy crispy chicken and most of the food on the menu.Recommended

I loved their open air sitting space but the problem is that its not very family/women friendly. Since its also their smoking area so most of the time its filled with male idle customers . It does ruin the peace n calm of the place. Macdonalds should work towards making it a more family friemdly space so that everyone can enjoy the beautiful outdoor.

Shifted to this place from across the park. Nice and clean. Hygiene ensured. Good sitting outside with nice view of the park. Service is quick and courteous.

Y block restaurant is different from their usual put lets. Have different atmosphere n class. New located m build restaurant has its own class. A fun place to enjoy with good food n quality service with good ambience.

Want a honest review?I can not speak for all McDonalds branches across Pakistan but this specific McDonalds in Y block is truly terrible. Maybe these standards are set across Pakistan so residents dont notice but as soon as you go abroad, for example UAE, and eat from their McDonalds resturants you will clearly notice the differences. The chicken sold in this branch doesnt even look like chicken. Its texture and taste is so off from whats symbolized in most international branches that I literally had to throw half of my burger away. The bread doesnt look like its been cooked. Its so hard and there are cracks, a result of long age, on the top bun. The sauces to bread ratio is horrible. The taste of the sauce is so mild that in some bites I dont even notice the sauce in the burger. The Tomato inside the burger is the size of an olive, literally, and there is only one. The fries are over-fried to the point where they are burnt and served without any salt. This branch is an embarrassment to the brand name and I would never recommend this to anyone. Small start up restaurants produce better burgers and the differences are very noticeable with cheaper prices. Coming to McDonalds expecting one of the best burger in its price based on its international popularity is a bad idea. I would recommend everyone to eat from a less popular restaurant and I could almost ensure the certainty of it being better than whats the sold in McDonalds.

A very lively place but very disappointing with the restrooms. For a place that serves such a large number of customers, one would expect decent restroom space. This is a new building that could have easily been kind and generous. But there are just two tiny restrooms. When I went there today, one wasnt even working. With adults who take long calls in the toilet and children who cant wait, you can only imagine the discomfort.

Its a great place to visit with kids. A large branch with ample parking and enough seating despite good turnout.Quality is good as usual.

Very beautifully maintianed park by dha authority n mcdonalds .....but it was not free for public earlier since mny years but nowadays its free for all to enter n enjoy in park......so i suggest it should permanently be free to enter for all dha residents n general public

They recently shifted the restaurant. As compared to the previous building this new one is quite small. Sitting is not as per standards like when you sit the person sitting right behind you is accessible and back touches the back. Nothing to say about the food as you all already knows how MacDonald taste.

They only let you dine untill 10pm as govt restrictions for covid 19.Healthy atmosphere and mcflurry was relish for the tastebuds.

As much as I dislike fast food there is something special about a 3 am run for McDonalds in Y block. The fries are always yum . And I love their ice cream desserts . Burgers are the usual MickeyDs meh.

The one on main boulevard is the worsssst...they never ever make the order correct..they dont tell u they r short of something until u have paid and r at the pickup window...n they r always short....I end up going because all kids like McDonalds and so sometimes u end up having to go..last time they didnt have lettuce (bahir se supply nehin aai..which is BS, its purchased locally) ..no sauce for nuggets, they were serving coke frm 1.5 litre bottles..they were actually pouring in their cups.. n of course if u place an order for more than 3 items..they always mess it up!!Unfortunately sometimes thats the closest to me and everytime I say..im never cming here again...

Drive thru is inconvenient, otherwise McDonald is how McDonalds are.

Alhumdolillah this location has everything that you come to expect from McDonalds, however, to be honest, the old location just one block away was a much nicer place to sit and meet with ur friend/s.

Very clean place and friendly staff. I am not a big fan of junk food but no one can beat mcdonalds eat egg muffins (plain bun and egg). It was unfortunate that they dont offer jam with it.

After 30 mins they told me that what I have ordered is not available and when the brought what was available after another 15 mins they told me that there is no iceberg in your burger as we ran short of it.

One of the busiest McDonalds of the city. And yes both their service and food quality is good. My kids are in love with the place so its good with me. My one concern and very major concern with this restaurant is that due to this restaurant traffic is most of the time of the day is blocked. It should be addressed too.

Worst service in drive thru. They took half hour to serve only seven cars. I would strongly suggest of never coming in drive Y block drive thru.

Visited last week they didnt have complete ingredients necessary for burgers. Upon asking they told that its been two days the burgers are served dry, without iceberg and mayonnaise. But, ofcourse, they didnt reduce the cost LOL

Do i need to review this place ? Reason being this is best and all time fav spot. Reason being it open air in park sitting, big parking, cool kids play area and above all double order lane for Drive thru. I always prefer having cardamom tea from here cuz that is the best tea in town.

One of the best McDonalds in Lahore. I usually dont give 5 star to any place but when I do it definitely have something to be special. About this McDonalds it got the beautiful park along it which named as the Sheeba Park. You can dine in outdoor as well, with lovely view of park and great atmosphere give a pleasant feel. People are very fond of this place with their kids and family. Overall a wonderful experience.

This is one of the worst branches of McDonald’s that I’ve come Across. First of all the entrance of this new y block McDonald’s is so devastating that you have to wait in the cue of drive thru, there are two lanes for entrance one is for drive thru and the order one is for the parking but in the parking lane they’ve also installed a order booth so If cars stop there to place order the people who have to dine in have to wait for them to place there orders. Next this branch is so congested and the architecture is soo poor compared to the old one.
