Overall a good experience, doctor and staff are very professional and know how to respect patients and family, very professional and experienced doctors and everything is very systematic and organized. and very hygienic too

The doctors are pathetic (Ive been to dentistry, ENT , dermatology department in the previous years and today). They dont listen to you properly and if you try to give them any suggestion or try to tell them about anything related to medicine ( like if a medicine doesnt suits you or you are taking something else perviously ) they will behave like maniacs or 13 years old teenagers who are on the verge of their temper.And the only solution theyre got for any slightest issue is surgery from a separate clinic which THEYLL PERSONALLY RECOMMEND YOU ON A SEPARATE SLIP.My experience from here is not once. Its from almost every year for the past 5 years ( of course for different health related issues ) and when I say that the doctors there have no interest in you or in your pain or in humanity , they are just money making machines then I mean it

The Shalamar Hospital is no less than nightmare. The security guards over there are obnoxious and have no manners to talk to you. They are just untrained with zero ethics and civil sense. Its no less than a government Hospital but charge you even more than any good Private Hospital. I will never recommend anyone to go to Shalamar Hsopiatal.

Much much expensive hospital for all types of treatments, especially strictly not recommended for Gynae purpose because Male staff and male doctors are everywhere in labour room teasing female gynae patients and male doctors touch females partients all the time without any reasonNormal Gynae deliver costs here arround Rs. 125,000 while C-Section exceeds above 2 lac (wo b male doctors kerien ga normal case ya c-section), apki lady doctor sirf delivery k baad ati ha file pe apni fees mention kerne (arround 60,000).

Most of the time the reception staff show rudeness if someone asks anything twice...probably fed up as if they are working without pay...The general out door doctors fee is ok but the fee for consulting a private doctor is quiet high.Think if u want to admit your patient here,as the hospital is quite expensive.Above review based on the views of some close contacts as well as on my own personal experience.

Besides funding from the government, it also depends on donations and grants from other private sources in Pakistan.It is primed to support all the needs of patients, especially the lower income population of Lahore. The hospital provides consultation, diagnostic and treatment services for almost all medical and surgical specialties through its hospital based clinical services and community program.

Good place but the doctors here present here mostly tests and major cases not properly check the reports and no one tell u basic problem

Shalimar hospital is located at Shalimar linkRoad.This is not a government hospital not a private hospital its a trust.Basic theme of the hospital is to earn money from Rich peoples and spent on poor one.If you discuss about staff administration level is very third class specially MS is not competent for the post.Doctors are very competent co-operative,caring.Specially in surgical Dr.Rizwan and in medical Dr.Abdul Salam are great persons.Recognition of a hospital is paramedical staff its very very third class.Totally careless have no words to explain their incompetency.

Best hospital in Lahore, nice building equipped with almost all kind of machinery. Almost all kind of renowned specialist are here. Specially cardiologist Dr. Javed Ashraf is one of the very kind and expert specialist. Laboratory is also up to the standards but prices are little expensive as compared to the local market.

Now today she told me that our old patient has come back thats why she told me I hv to do something for my dylesis exp. Its almost more then 55000. Today she has tone like order to change your shift. She said change the hospital for yours dylesis. I just want to ask from senior management of Shalamar Hospital why she told me to change the hospital. Who is answerable. TRUE STORRY.........( I dont want to give them even one star as I have no choice)My father was handcuffed to the Shalamar HOSPITAL in lahore CCU. Despite my fathers request, his hands would not open and he was not given water. My father suffered a great deal of harm. No family member was allowed to sit with my father. If the doctors knew that my father would not live long, then why did he suffer so much with high medicine? Their only intention was to charge us money. They did not have mercy on our fathers last time.After my father left the world, he met me in a dream.My father was carrying the blue uniformed men tied to the chains on his right and left,and told me, dear,they were tied to me.I did not know that the uniform of the hospital staff was of a blue colour Because I do not live in Pakistan nor was in Pakistan at this time When my father was an Admitt at the hospital.When I asked my family member, they confirmed that their uniforms were blue that father had tied.Upon hearing this, the earth went out of my feet and i started cry aloud.Then I dreamed again that my father was looking up at the sky and saying something, and suddenly the hospital ground swallowed my father. This was probably a sign of a truth from Allah.This is a true story and the only purpose of telling it is to protect your loved ones.And please do not leave your loved ones alone in CCU at any private hospital or Shalimar hospital.These people make human life hell for the last time in the cycle of making money.If doctors say that no one in the CCU can stay with a patient, so you shift your loved ones another hospital but do not leave them alone with their trust.My father is no longer with us but your loved ones are still with you.

My tooth was aching i wanted to check if they can treat me and free me of this pian but by doing root canal. So when i called their landlines i found that this is the worst hospital to call and inquire about any thing. First thy do not pick your call and if your luck is worse then they will pick your call and place you on a hold.

Dont every try to go to the emergency of shalimar hospital they have a good system to trap you in a bad experience doctor fee then fee to ask them to put drip then blood test without anyreason. If you will go there they are going to put you in a trap to stole money from you.

I had very bad experience from Shalimar hospital ICU (med unti). They are focusing on making money from patients. My cousin is in ICU since last week. Toilets are so filthy and canteen food are disgusting. There is Team leader (Ashir) in the night shift have no manners how to deal with peoples. Im very very disappointed from the services. I will never recommend this hosptil to anyone.

It is really good hospital with all the advanced medical facilities. It is also supported by one of the most upgraded laboratory. Wheel chairs and stretchers are also available in abundance. Doctors are well trained. There is a big parking lot. Emergency is also well managed and it is not that expensive. But the only problem is with few wrd attenders...

Good hospital but are some negligences in treatment.

We had a very bad experience about gynaecologist and obstetric ward. They call you in the evening and dont treat you till morning and without realising that there is no nursery space for the infant the consultant still offered place to their patients. So annoyed and angry about the service and treatment. We had to take our patient to other hospital. Not happy about it.

My overall experience at Shalamar Hospital was good. Staff was cooperative. Laboratory is seems to be very upgraded and never less than the renowned hospital of Lahore for medical tests. Environment is neat and clean. Little improvement is needed to facilitate more patients in OPD section.

I visited this hospital a lot many times mainly because it is near my residence. If you want to visit OPD in general category , the consultant fee is Rs. 120. As this is very affordable fee, most patients opt for this general category. Naturally, it overloads the consultants in a sense that he/she has too many patients to check. So the consultant usually doesnt spend much time trying to diagnose the disease. Instead, he/she quickly writes you the prescription. In case you visit the consultant OPD in private category , you have to pay much more (Dr Lubna, a senior gynaecologist charged Rs. 1500). Yes, you will get a lot more attention and a lot more time.Admission in Wards:There are again two categories, general and private (I know these two, there may be more categories). I personally have the experience of my wife getting admitted in general category in gynaecology ward. I think as far as treatment is concerned, there is no difference between general and private category. For example, if a patient is to be given Augmentin drip, he will get Augmentin no matter he is a general patient or a private patient. The difference arises when it comes to how regularly and timely your patient will be attended by the nurse/doctor. For general category, you may see that the doctor said in the morning well clean the infected wound twice a day and by evening he would say once will do.Deciding which category to opt:If you can afford the expenses of private category in shalamar hospital, why not visit an altogether different private hospital? Why not consider DHA National or other hospital which is, for sure, much better than Shalamar Hospital.If you cant afford private category, you should prefer Shalamar hospital over a government hospital but be aware you still have to pay for the lab tests and some other services (though subsidised).

This hospital has all fresh & non professional doctors. Senior doctor visits only once in a day in regular wards. Nobody takes responsibility for feeding, medication & updating patients log file. They just keep on writing medical tests and medications which is available inside premises on higher costs. Please take your patient somewhere else incase of disability or paralyzed.

A good hospital with good staff especially doctors. Reasonable price for checkup as take only Rs 120 for first time to check up and Rs 100 only after that if you visit. I often bring my kid to their and Alhamdulillah, she is checked up and prescribed well, which helps recover my kid soon.

For normal delivery a gynecologist will decide his own charges which might upto 35,000 rest are the charges of hospital which will take you upto 50,000. You can imagine about the c section operation how much it will cost you. I have paid to Dr Saima Jabeen gynecologist 22000 only for his telephonic consultantion charges for normal delivery while nurses do the rest of the job. She has not come to the hospital to see the patient. The total amount i have paid over there 36000 for normal delivery which includes, doctor consultation, hospital charges, ward charges. Shame.... Shame

It is a semi government type hospital just like Shaikh Zaid Hospital Lahore. Here the doctors are well trained professionally and sympathetic. Prompt attention to the patient call is ensured upto their satisfaction. By the way there is a proper system of entering the complaints if any to the higher authorities and I have seen the remedial measures are taken accordingly.

Previously this was best hospital in the town and now theyre getting greedy. In emergency inexperienced people are hired even doctors.

They got the best professors doctor of Lahore.Recently my mother was diagnosed with Pheochromocytoma so she had to undergo a major surgery by Prof. Khawaja Azeem.I am flattered by all of the doctors qualification we met and their patient care.Nursing staff can be improved specially in general wards.Its an expensive hospital if you go private. They also have a General type patients which are almost free of cost.A private major surgery would cost you around 5-6 lacs

I even dont want to give them one star. We have lost three of our beloved here with no cure. They cure sometimes enough when you have plenty of money to spend in vvip area, but still they are not related to good medication. They have general public, vip and vvip Wards. But you are still not safe in vvip. I personally know the people who belongs to all categories, They have same grieves. I see that entry level staff was handling senior level patients and diagnosing wrong diseases. Which was awful.
