Visited Dr. Naveed Ishaq Malik, for an ortho consultation and he could not come out of his “Bibi” zone. You’re speaking to an educated female who introduced herself with her name and yet you’re calling her Bibi, Baba G. He then spent a total of 5 mins on the consult. National hospital should make a disclosure that this physician won’t be dealing with pain related issues to traumatic injuries. He didn’t examine the actual patient but just looked at the xray. Post on your profile and save patients a time waste and risky visit to this hospital during COVID. Please as a doc if you’re tired of doing this job, just retire. He didn’t do anything to build rapport or take a comprehensive history or address any of the chronic complaints besides “age”. Highly UNrecommended as a physician.

They are overhyped and over priced. Service is too slow and apart from the glitter of the main entrance and reception, there is nothing good about the hospital. Went in for a normal iron infusion IV treatment for my wife. Had to wait 30mins or so just to get the nurse from nursing station to cater my wife. And their level of attention was very poor without any concern of showing care towards the patient. On top of that they charged us a hefty amount for a room where the hygiene level was extremely poor.

How can the diagnostic centre close at 10 pm when there are patients in the emergency section who need to timely diagnosed and treated accordingly. Dr Asim Iqbal ENT at national hospital is a highly inept and non professional person who is here to disparage hospital name. a few years ago, he performed my septoplasty but when I got conscious I came to know that he played with my nose and botched, damaged my entire face and because of his unethical action I am still unable to restore my nose because of huge cost of rhinoplasty. My aunt was admitted in a room and her condition was worsening. I asked the nurses to please come and take a look at her but they would not as they had no face masks with them which eventually I gave them. The same happened the next morning, her drip had finished but no one would come in the room as they did not had face masks.The process of getting a room in this hospital is also very tricky. Prices of a room vary from 14,000 to no wonder how much as they do not have a fixed rate and would go for as much as they can convince you to pay, but 14 is the minimum. Although there are some smart employees here too who can convince you to pay even more.A month ago we came from sargodha as my aunt wasnt feeling well and when I asked for her to be shifted in a room instead of emergency they told me that they had no room available and I believed them. But one of their own staff members came to me and told me the numbers of 5 rooms on ground floor that were available but had fake patient names written on their doors, the nice person asked me to not disclose their identity. This is a tactic to create panic for a patient and to give them a room of a much higher price. When I told the receptionist about the 5 free rooms on the ground floor he panicked and tried to convince me that he did not knew about them and that he would take action against people responsible but nothing was done, I laughed at this and asked him why do you guys do this kind of stuff to which he replied that karna parta hai boss.This is the state of one of the most expensive hospitals in Lahore and I would never recommend this to anyone.The doctors here are the same as the rest of them. They write medicines which arent available and usually are either sold in black or smuggled while the same medicines have alternatives too but they wont tell you to get those for the patient; its fine too as we do not know what the doctors know but its my opinion that a hospital should only prescribe medicine which is easily available in the market.I pray that none of you people ever have to experience the unprofessional and unethical behaviour of the people of this wretched place.

A very well staffed hospital. Clean and decent environment. The nursing staff is also very helpful and trained. The rooms are spacious but expensive. Their fees are generally expensive too. The hospital has a good pharmacy inside.

Worst experience ever my brother arm was badly damages but you have to pay for the file first. And it takes forever for them to make a file i had to go through 3 different counters and file and every counter took ablout 15 to 20 min which is alot the patien was in alot of pain and all they cared about was money every thing here is done very slow.

Recently witnessed this when my friend went to emergency and I went there to be there with him. Its interesting to see the behaviour of doctors. Which isnt anything new. The staff is so unprofessional, there so called young doctors sitting there,it takes them a while to come to the patient and even then lady doctor was such in a rush to go back and sit on her chair and chat with the other doctors or use her mobile phone. I mean the behaviour is so PATHETIC AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She didnt even bother to listen to the whole thing and referred to the other department. In the other department was the same attitude of the doctor. He didnt bother to get off the chair and come to the patient. Rather than talking to the patient and listen to the symptoms, he was more concerned to just back to his chair. It wasnt even busy that time of the night. Luckily our patient was discharged in few hours, at times they try to lengthen the treatment. But unfortunately the doctors attitude isnt professional, nor they ethics or any moral values in general. It reflects the true image of our beautiful society.

A very well maintained modern hospital. The best thing about this hospital was that unlike most hospitals, this was a rather cheerful place with flowers, chandeliers, black coat uniforms for reception staff, nice tuck shop and overall ambiance.

National hospital is one of the best hospitals in Lahore. Best doctors and nursing staff are available here to serve the patients day and night. Hospital also has best ultrasound, x Ray, emergency, outpatients, labour, kidney and heart departments. A mosque and canteen is also present here. Though it is a bit expensive hospital yet the expert services and care a person can get from here surely outweighs the cost!

Bad hospital. Untrained nurses and doctors dont seem as qualified as they make it appear. Nurses dont even know how to use needles and doctors try to get rid of you as quick as possible so that they can get more bucks in for the limited time theyre at the hospital.

Pathetic services. Very unprofessional attitude. All they care for is MONEY. After charging a hefty amount for MRI scan they gave me a report which was altogether incorrect. Later the HOD of radiology devised a new report (ofcourse after charging additional fee). And beleive me ive had more than one such experiences in recent few days. The reason I still continued going there was that my mother was in the middle of a very serious treatment. Changing the doctor at that time was practically very difficult.

Extremely poor service. The staff is not at all concerned about patients. Will not recommend. Agha Khn Karachi is far superior and the staff is excellent and very well mannered.

This is the worst hospital in Lahore. My familys experience with this place is very tragic and scarring, all because of negligence of their cardiovascular department. All they can do is hold up a beautiful facade, rather than fulfill the very purpose hospitals are meant for.

I was in Pakistan last summer and this review is long overdue. My mom was complaining about some pain in her left arm that we couldn’t diagnose and unfortunately I took her to Sheikh Zayed prior to this hospital. I literally gave up hope on ANY hospitals in Lahore until my cousin brought us here in the middle of the night.The second we got out of our cars, two gentleman (security guards) saw my mother was having trouble walking and immediately brought a wheelchair to bring her inside. They took us in and the facility was extremely clean and polished with professional and sophisticated Doctors. A female doctor saw my mom and quickly directed the security guard to take us into the room next door where there were clean bedsheets, a fan above your head, and the proper staff. The nurse aid assisted us and answered any questions we had, and then a Doctor came to help us. He was so kind, listened intently to our issue, and answered any questions patiently. I couldn’t believe it. I would definitely reccomend this hospital to families who are looking for clean and immaculate facilities as well as a pleasant staff and knowledgeable doctors.

Most of the specialist doctors are really good and some of the administration staff is helpful too but paramedic staff especially who are on duty for inpatients are extremely careless and unprofessional. And couple of the new doctors in emergency are more interested in talking to nurses than to attend patient.

I just saw a viral vedio of Ms Amina Aftab which reflects true services of hospital.

We took our niece there she was suffering with pneumonia. she was only 1.5 yrs old at 1am. no experienced doctor came out for checkup instead nurses were treating her. a nurse tried to put needle 5 times in her hand but still couldnt find her vein. then she took her off my sisters hand to ICU and she kept crying loudly. then when she stopped crying(died) two experienced doctors was seen coming laughing and joking and went in icu. then they came out laughing as well as if nothing happened. this attitude of them coming out made gave us momentous relief but no my niece actually died and they dont even care abt it.we went for complaint to dr usman i guess. he is nice on face but actually hes a butcher. he gave us relief but no action was taken instead.dont take your children to this hospital. they only care abt money

Very incompetent Drs and staff. Dr Abdul Qayyum is a fraud, beware. I was suffering from 104-105 fever that was not going away, gave me brufen, 2 days later still suffering and now with diarrhea, gave me brufen plus Imodium and told me to grow up and be brave (I was unable to walk or comprehend my environment at this stage). A day later I also started vomiting. Visited again(mind you he was charging 1000 per visit - back in 2007) was given an additional tablet for vomiting and told to be a man. My wife asked him to get at least some test done to rule out malaria or typhoid etc which he reluctantly prescribed. Once the tests were done we visited again to show results (charged 1000 again), saw the reports and said I am all clean and only pretending to be sick because I am laadla at home.At this stage my sister took my reports(I stayed home as I was exhausted) to Aadil hospital and showed those reports to Dr Khan (forgot his first name), he looked at the reports and asked my sister to get me admitted immediately as I was suffering from measles - untreated and it was getting worse.Got admitted and within 1 day of admission started to see improvement and eventually gained full health in a few days.

This place is a rip-off and a complete hoax in the name of quality healthcare! Doctors would have no clue of what the patient is going through as they go on a spree of prescribing tests, scans, medications etc. all in essence to maximize the checkout bill! Two different consultants would arrive at completely different evaluations of the same test or scan result putting the patients and their attendants in complete disarray. Different octagenarian looking consultants would come in to check on the patient status. They would hardly spend a minute or so with the patient, not even bothering to look at the test and scan results in some detail. They would charge you a hefty amount of 2 to 3k for their daily visits if you are in a private ward. The lower staff, though hard-working, expect you to pay them tip. The food options are aweful and are definitely not patient-friendly. If you are an attendent, there are high chances that if you eat the food from their cafeteria on the top floor, you will find yourself a patient in need of an attendant. The price of food does not in any way match the quality and hygiene.In sum, this is a fully commercialized hospital that is a healthcare hoax, the sole aim of which is to maximize their profits with professional incompetence almost at all levels barring some exceptions!! I hope and pray that you dont end up the same fate as I did when I brought a loved one here in emergency and had to struggle getting out of the hospital with my patient suffering more than when she did before getting admitted in the hospital. I paid a bill in excess of 120K for three days of stay in the hospital. But, i am glad i took a timely decision to pull out my patient before it was too late, both financially and healthwise. I am not sure if I should sue them but I just hope that no other patient and their attendants have to go through the ordeal that we did. One may find the apparent glitter of the chandeliers in the main entrance enchanting but there is a beast underneath that one needs to be wary of. Never ever even think about going to this hospital for surgery.Can anyone imagine that they caused 3+ degree burns to 40% body of my 6 month old son. They baked him for 3 hours on an electric hot plate while he was under anesthesia and they then threatened me to keep quite otherwise they will kick me out of hospital.

Very pathetic situation of doctors. Specially gynae deptt is very much costly. Consultancy fees is 2500 too much. For reports checking just checking of patient reports 2500 total fees patient has to pay. Whats this rubbish. Specially Dr. Bushra gastroentologist we went for just showing the reports and her PA charged 2500 pak rupees for just review of reports. I will not recommend anyone to go to national hospital in future its a gentleman words

National Hospital is only about minting money. Staff here (Nurses & Doctors) are cold blooded people. They know only one thing that MONEY $$$ is important, because the population is on the rise. This hospital is about profit only. They charge 14K rupees for a daily rate for a room and it stinks. I have a mother who is cancer patient and was told to wear mask during her chemo because of smell in the room. Can you believe that? This is after paying to them a lot of monies.It is all about Profit and no customer experience, shame on them. I cannot believe that a hospital is forgoing basic sanitation. Horrible, experience as admin tries to make additional monies by stating we dont have regular rooms available. Sad, very sad as these people have forgotten the basic rights of a patient.

High calibre Consultant Surgeon Raja Kaiqobad. Courteous, efficient administration under Colonel Usman Jilani.Post op room junior staff generally below par in the empathy department but some doctors helpful and bright. Finance services polite but not proactive or communicative. Discharge protocols awkward - no one team in charge.Premises clean.I have deducted one star for unsatisfactory verbal and written communication by billing. An updated welcome or information pack on paper or an e-document might improve client satisfaction.Patients attendants also need to be encouraged to remain considerate of others without obstructing or pushing while setting down & picking up patients in their vehicles or when queuing at a service window or desk.

Very bad experience, went for CT cardiac angiography, there was no doctor on call only a technician who after us requesting called Dr Gohar Saeed on the phone, his manner was very rude and condesending, he did not want to listen or answer any questions we had. We felt so unsafe decided to get it done somewhere else.

There was no air mattress for patients with extended bed rest (it can develop blood clots).3:- Rooms refrigerator is very small and good for holding a few small bottles. There is no microwave facility. There is no bed/sofa bed for person accompanying patient. Everything looked old and rusting.4:- Nurses were rude and made weird faces even on simple requests of checking blood glucose. They dont even keep proper record of patients food intake medicines and washroom visits. This is necessary especially for a patient who is in critical condition.5:- Doctors only visit for 1 minute and try to avoid discussing patients case. They are mostly busy in their clinics on ground floor.Conclusion: This hospital is overly expensive with poor infrastructure and services. My recommendation is to only use this hospital for doctors advice in their clinics. Do not use this hospital for treatment.

My 2 sons were born here and I had one surgery here. I have no complaints. My Doctor was Zia Ullah and My wifes Doctor was Sadia Shaukat. Both highly competent and professional. Excellent care was provided by Doctors and Staff. It is EXPENSIVE but worth it. Child care is Exceptional My Son Doctor was Dr Cheema and hats off to him. To bad he went to Ireland. Emergency is excellent for immediate care.Separate Emergency for Pediatrics.I have lived in USA for 9 years and its tough to find this level of care there.Doctors are not GODS all they can do is right diagnostics and care. Thats what they are doing here.
