The University of the Punjab (Urdu: جامعہ پنجاب‎), also referred to as Punjab University, is a public research university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Punjab University is the oldest public university in Pakistan. The building is nice Here I attended one session facilitated by an international speaker from Author Aid. It was hard to find the place. I asked the rickshaw driver to drop me at University of Lahore but he misinterpreted my command and dropped me at University of Punjab :)

It offers programs including GCE A Levels, BSc in Economics, Management, Accounting & Finance, Information Technology and Business Administration as well as Bachelors in Law LLB. It also offers the Diplomas in Economics, Diploma in Social Sciences and the Diploma in Laws programme. Recently it has undertaken an agreement with the University of Londons LSE to teach for the International Foundation Programme. The programmes that are offered are affiliated either with the University of London.
