Its very hard to find an honest persons in LDA. Very few people are helpful. Try hard with patience for right information concerning your matter.

Lda goes to change operations in more efficient way, under DG supervision and other cool staff theyre going to ease everything in one window cell, still there is limitness but hopefully well see itll resolve and applicant may take relief. LDA, which is abbreviation of Lahore Development Authority is one of the main development departments in Lahore District. Additionally there are City District Government Lahore working along LDA for different development works. CDGL usually initiates small level projects while LDA is executing all the major development works. For example Metro Bus project, Orange Line Train project etc. This office is One window office for matters related to LDA. Maps are passed here, societies are approved here too. All the development of Lahore is being executed and monitored at LDA. It has LDA sports complex adjacent to it which is also a major facilities.

Building is good and air conditioned. However the staff is slow and they make you visit a lot before completing work. Better take your application no. and search on lda website before visiting.

The building is embellished by the beaureucratic atmosphere with furniture resembling that you will find in a civil court room and lots of safes.

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is government body for development of Lahore Division which includes works related to provision of Housing Facilities, Road Infrastructure Development, Approval and Regularization of Private Housing Schemes, Commercialization of Properties, Buidling Plan approval and enforcement of Building Bylaws, Transport planning and Traffic Engineering, provision of Water and Sanitation Facilities etc. in Lahore Division.

You cant do anything here without giving bribe. And even after giving bribe, you wont get any surety of your work completion. One of the most corrupt government institution.
