Finding authentic mamtu in Lahore is harder than one may think. And the folks here do them right. One just needs to make sure of three things before visiting:a) That they do not visit on a meatless day (so as to not miss out on the full menu);b) That one orders at least a doen per person because thats how easy they are to consume; andc) That one doesnt forget to ask for the sauces!
Could we have vegetarian options please? Why is this country so poor on vegetarian options?
It will not be wrong if I say this place has got my heart. A place to gather my friends, nearest to the courts and have a look which delights the mood. Though I wish they could have had the washroom facility.
Its an old themed cafe with a cool lighting ambiance. We serve Hunzas traditional food (Mamtu, Chapshoro, Lakmun) and other eatables.
A Small But Great Place To Sit Back, Relax With Your Friends And Enjoy Some Great Receipies From The North Of Pakistan. Some Hunzas Specialities. All The Walls Are Surrounded By Some Amazing Paintings And Newspaper Headlines. Very Unique. There Are Only Red And Green Low Voltage Lights Bulbs, Which Gives The Environment A Lovely Touch Of Darkness.
