It is a very comfortable and quiet restaurant located in a very peaceful alley of gulberg. This makes parking an issue as there are houses all around.The restaurant provides both indoor and outdoor seating but tables are packed very close together making it rather unpleasant for couples looking for seclusion.The taste of almost every item on menu is very good and service size is very appropriate. The buffet items are equally good in taste especially dessert. Though good in taste, it is overpriced and overrated.

Hi-tea at Daar Cheeni today with family. Ambience n seating place is good. Sometimes it can become congested due to rush.Review about food is that overall food was hot n fresh. But taste wise everything was average. Only BBQ was good. Chinese vegetarian rice n oyster chicken was average. Fish n chips n nuggets were below average. In dessert kheer n vermecilli was good in taste. They need to make their taste more better. Although I was amazed to see the Jam packed restaurant. My rating is 7/10. According to me taste buds it has just average taste.

Environment and ambiance are awesome. Food variety and taste are average. Salads are awesome. Taste is fine however other items are not above average. Mint margarita is also tasty and very fresh. Interior is designed with very care and in a very good way.

I have visited this place with my office colleagues. Ambiance and decor was quite artistic. All the dishes in iftar buffet were delicious. Although lemonade served in iftar was not chilled enough. Good spacious area was allocated for serving buffet. Overall I love the food and the dim light ambiance. Prayer area needs some improvement.

It is amazing Resturent has good environment and serving for friends and family even you are alone. High tea is famous of Daar cheeni. Its delicious and offer wide variety of food with quite comfortable environment and good servings.

Daar Cheeni is one of the finest eateries of Lahore, Amiabnce is really nice.Lunch / Hi Tea & Dinner buffets are really good in terms of dishes & price. Also the Ala Carte menu has all the variety.Chicken Makhni Karahi is awesome, all of the BBQ items are good too. Please dont try there Sweet Dishes (specialy Ras Malai) it was very bad it looked like they served us plain milk with some dry fruits.

Went there for hitea with a bunch of friends..This place is excellent from ambiance to food.They have a small backyard too which is good to enjoy evening time. The staff was cooperative. Ecnomical rates.. one of the best hitea in town.

The place was good. I had a couple of hi-teas there. 20-30 people. I think they have moved to a new place or something like that. Not sure. But they don’t respond to calls.

Waste of money! Menu is not as per value for money. Mutton qorma was stale and meat was rock hard. Taste is also average. Alot of deviation from the menu which is advertised. No drinks and no welcome drink either. The interior is in quite a pathetic state.If you want to have a better buffet dinner in a lesser price plz go to Chandni Chowk.

Ambiance, taste, quality, everything was perfect. Theres no rush you can eat all you favorite items here. The environment is quite moderate and cool in summers. The also offer promotional offers to the first time experiencing people. They would reduce price of you ask them to. Their buffet is quite economical and taste indeed, is very good. The only problem that i had was with parking. You can hardly find a good place for parking bike while a small amount of place could be found for cars. Overall :one of the best buffet restaurant.

Daar cheenii is a good restaurant. First of all , parking is only for 8 cars, like its in 1 or 2 kanal house restaurant. Only 2 rest rooms one for women and one for men. Hi tea is good, valueable, while diner or lunch is not worth it. Mainly too costy. Enviroment is 10/10, food is 9.5/10, good for get together, and parties. Birthday parties. Out door back yard has beautifull lighting. Thats all. Nothing left to mention.

The place is deserted. The management seems to be not interested in improving the interior of of the restaurant. Lot of seapages in dining hall and buffet area. Tried their high tea buffet.. the dishes were 10-12 in main course.. few desserts and salads.. Ill give it 3/5 . The taste is ok.. ambience is normal. It was a week day so it wasnt too crowded. Staff was professional. But service was a bit slow. They werent too active in checking the stuff as we had to call twice for cups and tissues.. need improvement in this .

We went there to have lunch buffet but to our surprise, we were stale old food in the buffet. Nothing there was fresh as one of my friends got severe case of vomiting the day after. Taste was also bland and day old.We left the buffet and went somewhere else. The embarrassing thing was they changed the items to fresh ones when we were about to leave. This means if we did not complain, they would have served everyone stale food? Never going back.

The place is deserted, seepage all over, and that stinky smell OH MY God I couldn’t stand it for a minute. Then the washroom topped it all. It had poop all over and no soap and yes seepage is creepy.Food: Hell no. Everything tastes like rubber, old and soggy.I left the place with in 10 mins I entered. Don’t go guys! Save your bucks. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I loved the hi-tea when a friend took me there. Their chicken lasagna is excellent. I was impressed and took my family to their dinner buffet and had such a disappointment. Their menu was limited and pretty common and my favorite lasagna was missing. It was way too noisy because of some birthday celebration (the place is really unfit for birthday celebrations)

One feels calm and peaceful being in such an environment. The staff was well-mannered, polite and soft spoken. This gives the restaurant an extra edge when serving customers and Daar Cheeni had this edge.

Just fine place for food

Poor BasicsJust average food, large variety of food items and thats it. Basic norms of hospitality industry missing from the management of this eatery. There r few places with buffet menus where u just cant say much and this is one of those places. The front desk manager is very impolite and talks without thinking twice. I went there to book the place for 80 people over lunch. I asked them if they could spare one half completely for my family to which he told me that i should not be asking for any more favors as they will be loosing business because of my booking!!!!!!!!! One cannot imagine the surprise on my face at his comment. I told them that i will be leaving after paying the bill for tonights dinner and vow never to come back so as not to hurt their business. Pathetic. The dinner buffet that day was just ok and nothing special except for the variety of salads.

Their Grilled Fish with Lemon Herb Sauce in lunch buffet is scrumptious. The other thing that I like the most is tandoori biryani and the salads that they serve. Highly recommended for those looking for a fusion of Desi and continental dishes.

Visited daar cheeni during Ramzan Kareem, the issues i faced were that we had to sit outside even though i reserved a table before with no proper air cooling system, and the food was in a room seperate from sitting area without any Ac, so standing their in such a crowd killed my desire for more food, other than that the food was average, service was good.

This story of humiliation and patheticness started with my recommendation to change venue from other restaurant to Daar Cheeni as I had very good iftar buffet in last Ramadan. I forced bunch of 30 dudes to change venue and try Daar cheeni instead. i reached their at 2:15 AM and get standing ovation which I don’t realise that time that it will turn into walk of shame for me.Ambiance was very good but unfortunately this was the only thing that was good.Payee: Were hard than wooden sticks and gravy was very pathetic.Beef Nihari: Again the gravy was very bad. It was so bad that people just took beef and almost neglected that it has gravy has well.Chicken Qeema: It was good in fact the eatable thing after these 2 dishes.BBQ: Malai boti and Kebabs were above average.After this I didn’t have courage to try Channay, Halwa puri and Alu ki bhujjia.Lassi: Sweat and salted lassi was available but it was just average.Salads: Salads were all good almost.Cereals: Cereals were also available and was good as there is nothing which they have to add in that Last but not the least service was not up to the mark. They refilled food and drinks especially Roti and NaNs very slow.Lesson Learned: Never convince such a large group of people to change venue until you have cooked everything yourself or you own the restaurant.
