This shop has been here for a long time. A lot of books are available at a decent price. The Artists Way for example, was being sold for 2000 rupees online at Liberty Books but here I got it for 1200 rupees only. This is a nice store.

A good place to buy or read books, Even it contain stationary items and many more things but I dont think it is 4 or 5 star because I was not able to get the book I wanted. They say Liberty Books but if a person cannot buy his/her specific book from this place then they should change their Name.

One of my favourite store of stationary and office required items. Economical prices. Located in liberty market on corner side. Like its name, it has all type of varieties in all items of stationary. It also has different floors, dedicated each for books and toys. Lift facility is also available. Ample parking space is also available.

It is a good book shop. It has a huge collection of stationery. If one wants to buy gifts or gift bags, greeting cards then its the best choice. They have a great variety gift related items. There rates are reasonable. Staff is really good and well mannered. Ambience is nice. Its location is just perfect. Highly recommended!

Be careful in payments, once receipt made, they have a long process of making a new receipt, if you have to reduce the amount or deduct any item.

The name does the place justice. There’s a huge variety of books plus great organisation. If you’re looking for a specific book it can be tracked through the bookstore’s own software. Staff is extremely cooperative as well. Stationery section is also well stocked! Bonus points to staff for helping me retrieve my case that I had forgotten in the prayer area!

It has versatile nature of stationery and books.

Largest collection of books at one place I have ever seen. I liked the touch of children section loaded with little gadgets and educational toys. Theyre four stories and lack of elevator is a bummer so be prepared to climb stairs particularly if youre looking for Urdu books. Theyre covering nearly all topics and is a great place for readers. One thing though is their prices are slightly higher than market.

Credit / debit card machine not working.

A place I used to go to in the 1970s as a medical student. It used to be a small shop then but with a good content and variety of books. Going there after many decades recently was a very pleasant experience. It is now a huge, multi storied book complex with many sections, all artistically displayed. There is even a lift. Well done Variety Books for keeping book culture alive and throbbing in such a busy metropolis like Lahore.

I am a regular visitor here since ten years now and always find a lot of variety.With the passage of time i feel that the habit of book reading is going down and hence the variety is also squeezing.There is not a lot of people seen in the shop now a days which shows we are shifting away from book reading.None the less this place still has a lot of variety of books.08/10 *

In a Pakistani book Store you dont get the most important book from a key Author. Not very impressive.I didnt get Pakistan beyond the crisis state by Maleeha Lodhi

There is a great variety of books and stationery available. however the prices are extremely high. you could get the same original novel edition for less than 400 or 500 from any other bookstore that you purchas for about 1000 here. not worth wasting money.:(

Good Book Sellers Shop in Lahore

Very good variety of books, one window shopping for gifts n books for kids of all ages. I wish there could be more books on discount. Yet its good, the approach is easy, parking is also good. Avoid going there on busy days like weekends. Best time to go is day time.

Nice book place.

I visited variety books after couple of years and was shocked to see its poor state. Dirty book racks, unfriendly staff.It appeared as everyone in store is not interested to do his job.

I was looking to buy some books on Pakistan and its leaders. I visited the Liberty location that I remembered from my time in Lahore. This is a great bookstore with lot of variety. I would have preferred little better service specially section upstairs. The person working there has “ I don’t care” attitude. I was visiting with my sister and niece and we had good time browsing books and just talking.

Its been a while I bought any book from this store. Gave 4 stars because this is one of the very few book stores left in Lahore and its very old. A lot of good memories are attached with it. Their take away restaurant outside the book store is doing well. Their chicken shawarma is good and I have heard their other stuff is also good.

The young salesmen like to stare and point at women like theyre new to the planet and dont know anything about the products and the older ones at the counter like to shout at customers for minimal inconveniences as if theyre the only bookshop in lahore.

Gone are the days when this place was brimming with people of all ages. When boys and girls were looking at the aisles full of cards for all occasions with great focus and going through all the cards to find that one special card for the occasion.You would see women browsing magazines to find a suitable designs for their future suits and eager readers trying to skim through an expensive book without buying....Now the book store gave a deserted look with occasional customer like me who was looking for a stationary item or looking for a toy to give as a gift on birthday.Felt really sad for the place where I have so many happy memories of past.

Variety book shop is a multistory nice book shop. Ground floor have stationary sectionfirst floor contain mostly novels and books2nd floor kids books,water bottles,and bags etc and3rd floor contains toys.In a same building with a quite reasonable price you can get all these stuff in a calm and silent environment. Recommended to visit.
