Bhatti gate is close to shrine of Data Saab R. AOne of the 13 gates of ancient lahore. As usual its crowdy, hectic and yet beautiful. 2,3 minutes walk into the gate will lead you to a a very famous Doodh wala. This is something really special. At first the milk is heated in karahi , its then immediately put into a large bowl of ice. Old lahore. Bhati gate. Now the residents and local authorities ruins the beauty of the place. The boundry wall demolish partially by the residents. There is a garden outside the gate which is also covered with illegal shops. The streets are very narrow but these are airy. Here mostly people live now at rent that’s why they don’t care the place.

A number is hidden gems, some of them well known but most of them need to be explored possibly with a local is nice to explore place, not suitable for cars but bikes would be great if you really need a convance, lovely friendly and hospitality are some of the words to describe natives.

Bhati gate was named after Bhati(Rajput) clan. They ruled from Lahore to Derawar fort to Jaisalmer and Bhatinda. (From Punjab to Sindh to Thar Desert). There Bravery can been seen by forts and monuments they constructed in 10th century from Derawar fort, Jaisalmer fort to Bhati gate and Manny more.
