Kuch arsay say I have been eating so much rom out side restaurants and going through ESR page I always find a new place with some discount on it. So this time around after going through other people reviews about Noshakh I convinced my friends to try this out on the weekday after office…. Tu secene kuch aisay hai ke they were giving 20% off on the entire menu for a limited time. And being gosht khoooor we tried to order much of beef and mutton dishes.What we tried is to list down•Fatoosh•HummusKabuli Pulao•Mutton Rosh•Namkeen Lamb Karahi•Afghani Beef Tikka•Shahnshai Nan•Chicken Seekh Kabab•Uzbik Lamb OuziWe started of with Hummus and fatoush salad and tbh it was one of the best I had in while better than the places who name themself as authentic Lebanese food joints. The next dish on the menu was afghani beef tikka it was served to us piping hot in foil paper with all the cow fat in it … so juicy and tender… wah maza aagaya badshaooo kah ke … we also wanted to try the Kabul palaoo and it was a good decision to add it to the menu … the rice were nicely cooked and it have the exact aroma like I am having it from Peshawar roadside dhaba. Mutton rosh was finger licking and the quantity was sufficient. The new thing they suggested us to try was Uzbik Lamb Ouzi… tu yeah dish ek handi mei covered aye thee jiss mei rice ke andar mutton qeema added thaa on top it was full of raisin and almontsh and deep inside it had mutton chops with very different spices fully tendered that melt in your mouth typeo of thing …. One must try this dish for sure… maza aajaye gaaa its different fromsual. Namkeem Lamb Karahi is really good. Beef Chapli Kebab is average, the tomato sauce served with it is also average. Malai Boti is dry/ below average. Furthermore, the manager/owner is really nice while the staff is untrained/ without any clue/ mess up your order/ dont bring all assortments/ add extra food items in bill. Very unprofessional and unapologetic staff/ environment. Worst experience in a long time with service of a place. Overall the ambiance is also average. Untidy place and services area.

Located at FF phase 4 DHA, Noshakh is a fine Afghani food restaurant. If you love mutton and beef, youre going to love their dishes. Weve been ordering their suleimani karahis and special kabaabs and the food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is pricey though. If you order food for 5 people, it easily costs you around 6k or so. But the taste is worth it. They also have a good dine in set up. Huge parking is available in the front. So a good family pace as well. They also make whole lamb on order which should be good for a dinner party.

A better experience of afghani food after a long time! Very authentic taste. Everything was cooked at its best. It was definitely one of the scrumptious namkeen food one may have. The aroma of the mutton ouzi was felt from far away even before the dish had arrived at our car.The tenderness of the ouzi bread topped with finely spread kalongi and the juiciness of the mutton that was enclosed within the bread along with the flavour that had been absorbed by the rice, was definitely something to behold.Truly an exquisite experience

A friend from Birmingham, UK came to DHA. So decided we to visit a local Afghani restaurant. We choose to visit Noshskh.1st visit & with great joy can recommend food, service & atmosphere. Chappli Kebabs & Lamb Namkeen Kharahi were excellent in taste.Will definitely visit again....

The food wasnt that good to get more than 3 stars. I had the afghani tikka and pulao, they had sprinkled chat masala over the tikka for some odd reason, and the tikka was very overcooked which made it very hard. Pulao was just ok. Not more than a 3 star afghani eatery. Ive been having afghani since i was a kid, since i grew up in peshawar, this was just average compared to actual afghani food. If youre coming here in hopes of it competing with Islamabads kabul restaurant, then Id recommend not going, kabuls food is wayyyy better.

The taste of Chappli Kebab & Pulao is awesome. Outstanding service and quality of food. The place is totally worth going, one thing is for sure well be visiting this place again very soon.

The name might cheat u ,its not authentic Afghani at all my personal experience the BBQ was a total disaster the beef Tikka meat was coarse dry and chewy and as there should be fat in btw it was served separately to save on that,namkeen karahi meat was turmeric in color and BBQ kebabs below average and definitely over priced....not worth a visit again

It is nice and clean restaurant with Afghanistans food as their speciality. Overall food taste was great with nice Desi presentation. We tried beef chapli kebab and namkeen lamb karahi. Both items were of great taste and have very decent balance of salt. And most importantly both dishes have very good taste without any bad aromas.

It was a very nice cosy place with really delicious food especially the barbecued stuff at very reasonable prices but the only issue was slow service and one of the AC wasnt working!! The qandhari nan was a treat to watchBrought so many good memories from my city Quetta

A very good option for those who are looking for Afghani food. Dampukht was best. Its not a big place so not recommended fo larger gatherings. You might need to wait for seating during rush hours. Food taste is great and service is good as well. Recommended for visiting with family.

Noshakh is a small sized restaurant with cramped spaces where you are sitting too close to others and there isnt much of privacy. The ambiance is ok but due to over crowding and cramped spaces, many aspects related to décor are compromised.They claim expertise in Pakistani, Afghani and KP food. The standard of cooking is reasonable, nothing extraordinary. If you are going there just to have normal Pakistani food than the standard is ok. However, if you are looking for the typical Afghani or Shinwari taste than you might be disappointed. We ordered namkeen Karahi, chappal kebab, seikh kebab and chicken boti. Chappal kebab were good. Rest were average.Rates are a bit on the high side. There is enough parking space outside.

Believe me their Chapli Kabab are WORSE. No one in Lahore who knows how to make a perfectly taste in Chapli Kabab.Too much suffocation because they didnt turn on their air conditioners even mentioning them.Just a hype not worthy enough.Only Chicken Karahi was OK in taste.

I have visited it twice. The food is tasty and cooked in Afghani style. I would recommend chicken namkeen karahi and chapple kebab. Sitting arrangement and ambience is just ok. Service is a bit slow but food is highly recommended.

A very poorly served meal. I wont even get to the taste the service alone is enough to let them down. Mismanaged and poor delivery on a dine in. Wont recommend it at all

Chapal Kabab and Beefi tikka were Awesome. Tawa piece was not upto Taste.

A little worse for the wear now after several years of being in operation, It is starting to resemble a less fancy place that it aims to be. The food too has suffered very slightly but still remains some of the best shinwari cuisine you can find in Lahore. It is still a remarkably enjoyable culinary experience and with a little upkeep, Noshakh can easily go back to being its former, glorious self.

There beef chapli kabab are getting better.nice sitting and the ambiance is also cool.its decent in terms of prices if you consider it being in DHA.serving time is usually high so you better take some cards with you to pass the time.the staff is super helping they even pre cook your food if you ask them, this way you can save lots of time.

Very tasty and healthy food

While the food was good, the staff and manager were pathetic. Refused to switch on the heating on their reversible aircons lying through their teeth and denying they were capable of heating. This during the peak of winters! I wouldnt go there again. You can find similar food at places where they care about their customers.

Noshakh is a decent Afghani restaurant located in FF defence. Like with every Afghani restaurant that serves fresh food, they make you wait a good amount before you can get some juicy meat that you long for.Would highly recommend the lamb Karahi, which in my humble opinion, is arguably one if the best shinwari dumba Karahi in Lahore. The Meat is great but the best part is the masala of their Karahi. Would also recommend Afghani beef boti and chapalli Kabab. The dumba tikka wasnt that great and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone honestly.Overall a great experience if you are patient enough for the wait.

Pathetic service with disgusting food. We ordered Lamb karahi and pulao. Full serving was for maximum 2 persons and i literally have never seen any lamb more smelly and utterly chintzy. It does look like eveb lamb. First and last time.Not allowing reviews on Facebook page is fairly understandable.

If you want the BEST quality desi food go to Noshak. Superb taste. Good variety. More than enough quantity.If you go before 5, then go for the deals. You have to ask for the deals menu paper as it is not included in their regular menu.It gives slightly better value for money.What I liked most here are Afghani kabab, mutton karahi, chapli kabab and malai boti.Bar B Q items are overall very good.Mutton karahi is the best you find anywhere in Lahore.Noshakh has normal seating arrangements as well as floor seating setup. In summers the floor seating area is uncomfortable because of no AC there.Appetizers are not good.The only negative part is they dont accept cards. All payments in cash only.Another thing that can be improved is provision of some privacy to guests. Seats are too close and congested.Overall a very good place. Good value for money.A must go for desi food lovers.

Overall a good experience, specially the namkeen lamb karahi. However the Afghani dumba Tikka boti was a disappointment, maybe because it wasnt fresh off the grill.Not very expensive and there was an ESR discount as well.

Premium experience place for Afghani cuisine. Their rosh and shinwari are sublime. Food quality and cleanliness is great. Prices are very reasonable. The only downside is that they are cash-only but there are plenty of ATMs around in the market in case you forgot to bring your cash. Their serving time is quite a lot (40-50) minutes (as they prepare every dish afresh) which gives you ample time to sit, relax an dtalk. Gets very crowded on weekends and difficult to get a place with their long serving times. Recommended it to a friend for family party who wanted desi cuisine and they also loved it. Its a good idea to book a table beforehand especially if you are visiting on weekends.
