A very beautiful forest Safari, you can have BBQ at various places. Boat riding with paddle and motor boats, kids play areas with electric an other swings. Animals among which bear cage of black Balochistan bear, ostrich and spotted dears were attractive for kids. Japanese park is beautifully designed and titlli park is something exceptional.

PHA (Pakistan Horticulture Authority) has taken this initiative to renovate this long forgotten and lost Jallo Park. The entire park is renovated with new grass plots everywhere and plantation of different types of flowers and trees.Botanical garden is a separate part of the park built on the theme of education gardens. It has different smaller gardens within like Rose garden, Greenhouse etc.The entire place is whole family package to enjoy and spend some good leisure time here. It’s enjoyable for kids and adults equally.The best times to visit are of course spring, autumn and sunny days of winters.

Recently, I really liked going there after almost 15 years. There was a campaign shoot of one of my clients there & it was good the see the forest free of litter.

Very boring place. Botanical park isnt opening.

It is a very lovely and peaceful place. Whenever I am In Anger I Come To This Place , and forget everything. It gives peace to my mind and to my heart.

Too long maybe 2.5km, which is good, but there should be sort of small golf type wagons for the public.... Its a fabulous place to enjoy nature away from the polluted city.

Big Forest Park With Fresh Air And Mini Zoo Inside

As renovation and maintenance work is going good, Jallo is becoming a beautiful place to stay with family.

The Jalo Forest Park is the biggest park in Lahore, Pakistan. There were a lot of animals before, but now, they have few of them. Its very clean and has good environment. It also has a lake view where visitors enjoys boating in the lake. Although, it is not an amusement park but it is a good place for picnic.

Jallo Park (sometimes called Jallo Wildlife Park), established in 1978, is a public recreation and wildlife site located in Lahore District, Punjab, Pakistan. Spread over an area of 461 acres (187 ha), it is one of the three main wildlife parks located in Lahore, the other two being Changa Manga and Lahore Zoo Safari. The park is 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) east to Lahore city. Facilisites at Jallo Park include a Forest Research Centre, Wildlife Breeding Center, restaurants, coffee shops, a theme park, a sports complex, swimming pool, and a large lake for fishing and boating. It is currently funded by Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department of Government of Punjab. It is easily accessible by taxi, TransLahore buses and Lahore City Commuter trains that stop at Jallo Railway Station. Now the Botanical Garden Jallo is the part of this biggest Wildlife park Jallo.It is a busy railway station located in Jallo Park. It is one of the sub-urban stations of the Lahore city which are served by commuter trains of Lahore. A large number of commuters use this station to get access to the city of Lahore.

A very good place for family picnic activity, vast area with lush green grass covered with trees give relaxing view. There are certain playgrounds are available too for sports. There is a collection of animals too which add to attraction of this park.

Its a very nice famuly place. Beautiful lush green grass grounds. Lake, motor boat rides, swings, kids train etc. Food and beverages are expensive. Bring your own. It is allowed to bring your own cooked or purchased food and have apicnic there.

It was develop to give public the forests and learning place specially for the students and general public. Unfortunately mis- management and criminal neglect of the non-qaulified managers and staff of the Punjab Horticulture Athaurity. Only the Butterfly Sanctuary And Meausem is located in a very excellent artistic planned building. Staff is qualified and helpful in replies to the qauries put forward to them.
