Model town park is one such amazing place where you can go relax, see the nature.. breathe in trees, & more importantly the track is Amazing for runners & walkers, its 2.5km..park is clean no garbage or littering. A place worth visiting.

I have been a regular visitor to Model Town Park since February 2017. I do 10 km running 6 days a week. One of the best park for body & soul. Nice track, pleasant people & clean environment. Security arrangements are adequate. Must VISIT park. Will recommend to runners & walkers all day long.

Good jogging and for children play.Jogging track are shadowed by thick leafy trees which can hardly provide oxygen to the underneath track when sun light is absent.Zigzag paths inside the park don’t have trees on either side but these are brick soled and unsuitable for jogging.Litter spread by visitors are seen abundantly. The management of the park should take notice of that and place litter boxes in the park adequately for public use.

Model town Park is a sea of tranquility among an ever manifesting chaos. It blends well with its surroundings but it does not need to be as it has its own little ecosystem. After entering through the main gate, you have two options, either walk along the circular encompassing trail or go into crisscrossing paths into the heart of the park. You come across a graceful minaret of a mosque right at the start and from herein, you only have to look left to enjoy the undulating green dunes and wooden canopies. While in the center of the park, a circular canal surrounds an island. Ducks and seagulls roam here and sometimes greet the walkers unceremoniously. Park itself is a lovely place to be in.

And its maintenance is done properly and is watered 3 times a day, in morning, evening and at night.

Absolutely mesmerising! Love the place so peaceful & extremely gorgeous. If nature attracts you then this place is definitely perfect choice to spend some quality time.

Its a good recreation park but rates of food items on canteen are very high as compared to the other parks in Lahore city

Accesible by using RT 16 speedo bus, a good spot for walk and jog, as well as a good for family outing and picnic. U can also do boating and have some fast food, but never forget to take money with u for Rs.20 entrance ticket.

A nice place to visit and have some quality time. This park offers a variety of scenery, which make the jog more worthwhile. As the end of the jog nears, my mind is refreshed and my body is energized for the day.

An amusing location with wide spread greenry area.

It was my second time there for a morning walk and i noticed that the park is so *un-natural* as compared to other parks in Lahore. The purpose of parks is to provide people a break from their daily monotonous routine.Reasons:We can only use the jogging track in one direction (counter-clockwise). I couldnt find a reason for this restriction (yes, i know its an organized way that people dont come head-on to each other and it reduces the mess on the track).But... I personally felt it so un-natural. I mean let the people go in whatever direction they want. Let them be natural and free.Also, I spent almost 3 hours there. I didnt see any stranger trying to mingle with any other. (Although, there were groups of people doing yoga and stuff).It feels so nice when you are jogging on track and someone (completely unknown) comes jogging from front, passes a smile and say Salam and you respond back.(And some more reasons...)Its my personal experience and feeling. I couldnt have spent that much time there if I my friends were not with me. ( Shout out to them )

I love this place. I go here to watch the sunrise and sunset. The food is horrible and the security staff is stuck up as hell though. But the park itself is beautiful.

Alot can be done to make it better. For starters, spraying excessive water on jogging tracks needs to pulled back a bit, it gets very muddy and slippery once its done and water is unfortunately sprayed every 2-3 hours. They need to place more small stones on jogging track to make it more grippy or either remove it completely and put rubber track. Guards working in the park needs to pull back on spying and telling couples to lay off when it is none of their business. SOPs are not being followed by the staff working there with no masks/ temperature monitoring and also there arent any sanitizers on the entrance or exit.
