It was a wonderful experience with them. We tried namkeen chicken tikka, Chicken Karahi and Chappali kabab. Chappli kabab was little bit spicy but it was delicious and the staff is very very cooperative.

For any Carnivorous food adventurer the quest for ultimate meat grind between teeth can either be only found in three nations: 1. Pashtoons. 2. Turks. 3. Brazilians.... After stating these strong words I must confide with the the readers that this is purely my brothers and my own experience after visiting +44 Countries. The best meat experience in Pakistan is definitely either in Namak Mandi or in LandiKotal, both being in KPK, formerly known as NWFP. Now for somebody who cant travel to KPK that frequently and either resides in Lahore or is posted here, maybe even stuck here, can have the best if meat experience in SARHAD RESTAURANT. Us Karachiwala mixbreeds really love Lamb meat and Fat. We are very particular about certain tastes and their authenticity. SARHAD provided all. The Aurora and ambiance was very particular of a rough and tough PESHAWARI/KPK sitting GOLL KAMRAs. The Lamb was a WoW factor, the BBQ LUM aka Tail Fat was heavenly. The best part is they knew how to cook authentic KARHAIs and BBQs. A true Karhai is only cooked with Fat, Meat, and Salt. Thats it!!! Nothing else!!! And they got it right the very first time without even explaining them how to do it. Usually Lahoris have no clue or Idea to make authentic Karhais-Here a lot of Spices, Greens, Tomato, Yoghurt, and Creams are added, which is quite nice in its own way, but definitely is not a Karhai. Ask any Pashtoon, Baloch, or any other Central Asian. But then, Hey!!! Each area has its own palatable tastes. For us, in Karhai, authenticity matters, and that authenticity was provided by SARHAD. Way to go SARHAD guys, keep it up. Ill be visiting yall again, INSHALLAH, very soon!!! *LIVE LONG AND PROSPER WELL IN LIFE EVERBODY!!!*

Namkeen karahi and sulamani (little grevy ) karahi is deliciousBBQ Chops are best.Mild spicy Chapli kabobs are average taste like other restaurants. Mutton rice is good taste.Place is hot only fans are working and no AC in men section.Overall good place to enjoy namkeen non spicy food.

Dumba karahi.Great taste, great ambiance.

Warm welcome , sitting area is nice with options for families, freshly cooked food, order lamb and chicken karhai , taste was ok lamb needs to be coocled a bit more however needs improvement , gravy was extremely less and customer service requires improvement as had to call different waiters 4 times to pack the food.

Only Dumba karahi is good rest of food not so much

They only uses the name of sarhad, I will never suggest anyone to go there. Extremely expensive and their mutton karahi was only fry of meat in oil which makes a dry and hard meat fried in oil. Mutton BBQ which they charged Rs. 2200 was not able to eat due to so hard mutton.

A wanna be restaurant for pashtun cuisine.Taste is average while prices are on the higher side.Desi style sitting setup which is kinda nice but the service is disappointing.

Good restaurant. Had a wonderful Aftar Dinner with buddies. Due to a huge crowd, though they couldnt justify Dunba Karahi yet it was good to taste and enjoy. Above all, the gathering was the best. So enjoyed my time, food and gathering. Beside dunba karahi, they also offer Dunba BarBQ. But to conclude, I would recommend all if they are willing to enjoy Dunba Karahi, thry must visit Ilyas and Jamshed at Lara Adda.

Having dinner in Sarhad Restaurant, Lahore was truly impressive. The inside set-up rightly depicts the style prevalent in Northern areas of Pakistan. The food was good, service up to the mark and endly we felt that it was all worth the money we spent. A fine dinning indeed. We selected Dumba Karahi and mutton tikka chops. Well recommended for one visit atleast.

If you are looking for best lamb krahi then its the right place to go. After meal just order their kawa which is also recommended and good in taste. Environment is okay. You can go with family as well. Sitting options are chairs and charpai. You have to wait about 30 mins, but its worth waiting for such good food. I liked it. Parking is not as good. You have to park just in front of door, they should solve this.
