KHANPUR railway station is located in Khanpur city, Rahim Yar Khan district of Punjab. It is a major railway station of Pakistan Railways on Karachi-Peshawar main line. Once, It was the biggest Railway Junction between Rohri and Khanewal. but Now its Junction status is no more.The station has an old beautifull building of colonial times. Made by the British, many Dock Banglows are in miserable condition.Station is staffed and has advance and current reservation offices. Food stalls are also located on it platforms.

It is property of Government Organization Pakistan Railways. Basic necessities are very rare like passenger waiting area are in very bad condition. No fans in second and economy class waiting areas. Drugs addicts are very often to see at passengers waiting areas. Cleanliness is very worst in these waiting areas. Water is also not filtered and railways station. The only thing which is in good conditions is reservation office. Television installed some years ago but I think those items could be recovered from any railway officers custody. Not secure there are too many places to enter & exit at station without any security check.

Need cleanliness improve service but one thing its one of the best railway station but need to approve junction again one of the best thing in khanpur its khoya place peray which is best at top of the khanpur also improve lighting in railway and improve worker corporation

Khanpur railway station. Good in condition. Local language is Punjabi Urdu and Serakai. Mostly summer are hot. Its about one hour from Rahim Yar Khan.

Station open every time day 24 hours . Every single train stop here. Once a time it was a big and a junction. The railway officers are present hera 24 hours for serving the Passengers. Thera are many sitting for passengers,and a beautiful shed and many of shops for eating. Train always on time but some times by bad luck come late. We hope a good journey.

Khanpur, how can I forget this place; The time when I didnt even had 10 rupees in my pocket, and was looking to the people who were buying food for themselves and their families

Khanpur railway station is situated in the old city .Khanpur railways have a big town in khanpur city called by khanpur railway colony. Few years ago Khanpur railway station was janshan becuase two trains arrivels and departure from khan pur janshan one of them Rohi express, Rohi express was populer train in poor people of khanpur becuas tickets was v cheep, Rohi express started from khanpur jankshan and last station was rawalpindi and the 2nd was Rohrri , Rahrri started from khan pur jankshan and last station was Rohrri jankshan Sukkher.
