We were very pleased with service that Meghan Finnell gave us at the Clive, Iowa store. She is very knowledgeable and spent time showing different floor models of whirlpool microwave ovens. There was no pressure! And she assured us that if there would be any problems that she personally would take care of us.We would definitely work with her again. She’s a gem!!

I have been a loyal customer of NFM for years but we recently had a terrible experience when we purchased a Beverage Center. NFM made us wait three weeks since the product was going to be shipped from the manufacturer. That’s usually not an issue until we experienced their delivery. As obvious from the pictures, they dropped off a unit with no packaging or manufacturer paperwork. It is obvious that they just gave us an old unit from their showroom floor and decided to keep the new unit. This clearly shows how dishonest and unethical they are with callous disregard for customer interests.They got away with the delivery since I wasn’t home and my kids didn’t know what to do. It is appalling that a local business treats customers like this and take advantages of them. This is not a place I will shop again.If someone at NFM needs to verify this order, take a look - #70156116.

I bought an entire suite of appliances and only the dishwasher was installed correctly. They left the refrigerator installation incomplete by not installing the waterline, and they left the stove installation in complete without installing the downdraft or pushing it all the way back to the wall. They also messed up my gas line. They had to come back to relight my water heater, and refused to come back to relight the pilot on my gas stove. I am happy with the quality of the appliances but the service left very much to be desired.

Didn’t know this store existed until this morning. Shopped for 15 min to find what I wanted and it’s going to be delivered this Friday. Exactly what I wanted when I wanted it and it was extremely easy. Thank you and I will order again in the future.

This was my second purchase of a smart television there. The salesman was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with me in answering my many questions. He was able to ensure that I purchased exactly what I wanted and needed. He showed me how smart technology worked and I really appreciated that as well. We were instantly greeted by Brian. He was very attentive and friendly! Even helped us choose our flooring for what was best for our color schemes in our house (based on what we had told him and the two we had already limited or down to). He did not try to persuade or up sell us into something different than what we chose.

Not sure I could recommend NFM for expensive built-in appliances. They don’t service what they sell, and the installer they use could not level the doors on a 48” build-in refrigerator. The installer also pinched the tube to the water in door dispenser, and had to have an appliance service company come take a look. They wanted to order a new stainless steel freezer door for a pinched tube??? The service tech could not level the doors either. I finally got tired of looking at the uneven doors, and adjusted them myself, also moved the pinched tube, and finally have water in the door. On the bright side, the price was right, just hope I don’t need service anytime soon.

Really like NFM for the service and value I get everytime I shop there. Ive done a high end full home remodel with all the appliances and half the flooring sourced from NFM. Great if you find something you like. Just try to discipline yourself so you dont walk out with too many fun new toys.

NFM had a great price on flooring. Nolan was very helpful last night and after taling samples home, we returned to purchase. Steve was helpful today since Nolan was finishing up with another customer. Quick and easy process to put our order in and they will call us when it comes in!

My washing machine decided to break down yesterday morning and Rick Reynolds was very helpful!! He made sure what washing machines were in stock looked up reviews and showed me how they worked. I’m happy to say we will have a new washer on Saturday!!!

Tables not where they are suppose to be. My fiance ordered end tables in October we finally received a email stating they were in. The tables were sent to Omaha we live in Des Moines. The sales rep we talked to yesterday morning did not state that she was in Omaha. After waiting for an extended period of time to still have to wait for something that is paid for is very disappointing.

I had the best experience with Noah. He was very knowledgeable and quick on the computer. We got my transaction done in no time and I even got the casserole dish offered for the first 200 people. Another great experience at NFM

Ive been waiting since August for my Fridge with top freezer. I purchased it and they assured me they had the unit in stock. Then they called back to say they didnt have it. I wont go into all the details of not getting the icemaker so they finally brought it out without an icemaker. Well the fridge was dented so they had to order another fridge...kept thinking the icemaker would come in by the time they were to deliver the fridge, but no. So I waited for the icemaker and it came in,but by that time they didnt have the correct fridge. So I waited until both were available and I was to get it today. Last night they called to say they could come before the storm and would be at the house in 25 minutes. So after cleaning out the fridge and washing everything down...they called me at 9:38 pm to say the roads were too bad and were already on their way to another town. They called me this morning after I told them how upset I was and they said the delivery people would give me 100.00 for the inconvenience. I now have to wait until February for their next run.

Seamless customer service and great people to work with!

Purchased a new electric range to replace a broken one we purchased 8 years ago from NFM. With the pandemic affecting supply issues at the big box stores, NFM had the range we wanted in stock and gave me a special military pricing. The Waukee, IA location was clean and well organized with sales people ready to assist us as soon as we walked in. Since we knew whats we were looking for, the whole transaction, including looking at online models, took about 30 minutes. One salesperson handled the entire process from start to finish. Good job.

Got a call after posting the first review...strange. 2 days later still nothing. I called again, no answer, left a message and still waiting for a return call. If I could change the rating to zero stars, I would. I will never shop here again.Promised flooring would take a day or two. 4 days later and still nothing. No one will answer or return a call in that dept. Tried their automated order tracker and it transferred me to a customer service rep. I was promptly hung up on. First time customer and probably last time.

Dont trust their delivery date estimates. I bought a fridge on 9/7 with an expected delivery date of 10/6. They called on 10/6 and delayed delivery to 10/16. Fine. They called today (10/13) and delayed delivery to 12/8/20!

The staff was very helpful. Found a new fridge. And they loaded it and tied it down so the 3 hr drive home was a sucess.

We bought a recliner from NFM in 2018 with extended warranty on mechanism. It broke in late sept. I have been trying to get it repaired since. We gave over $900 for the chair with warranty. Guardsman, who provides warranty is absolutely terrible and NFM basically said it wasnt their problem so if you buy from them dont buy extended warranty. NFM will take the money but not back it up.

We ordered a bed frame and end tables in June for delivery in August. They didn’t arrive on time. When they did arrive the frame had a broken part that would take six weeks to replace.Second order of a coffee table with end tables came on time with broken pieces.Third order of a chair was delivered, except it wasn’t what we ordered. Not even close. Like completely wrong order.Whoever is in charge of QA needs to audit their shipping/receiving department or whoever is managing orders from Omaha to Des Moines. There’s clearly an issue.

Nice location, great parking. Store had large variety of appliances, however they seemed to be priced higher than other locations. Was hoping for a package deal with all large appliances at same time.

The worst possible experience, will never shop again.My wife ordered a Whirlpool fridge August 6th, 2020. Estimated delivery for September 29th. No problem. Delivery date, comes and goes. No email, no phone call nothing. Call NFM, its been pushed to October 6th. I tell them it would be nice if we were notified that it wasnt going to come. They say they write everything down and say it wont happen again. 6th, comes and goes. Not a single communication. I call again moved to the 13th, only I was a bit more irritated, tells me almost word for word the same thing. October 13th, comes and goes, still not a single word from NFM. To be clear, I understand its 2020, stuff is on back order, thats fine. Me having to call every week, spend 10-30min on hold because they cannot communicate with me, not fine. I call again, Im pretty heated with the customer service person. Am told its moved to November 23rd, same nonsense about making sure we receive a call and email. I notice its on sale and ask for a discount. NFM was kind enough to give me approximately $5 off what the item was now on sale for (which they never mentioned anything about with all this trouble). Wow, at this point Im insulted, but our fridge broke, and we need one so I didnt want to lose my order. I took the measly discount and began looking elsewhere. We ended up purchasing from another company, so I call to cancel the order. Wait on hold for 30 minutes. Give all my wifes information (the order was in her name), Ive been doing all the communication since the order was placed and then, they refuse to cancel the order because Im not my wife. Im livid. I call financial institutions that are under my wifes name only and deal with them no problem. But not to cancel a fridge order? On an order Ive been calling and dealing with since the order was placed? Nice NFM was able to hold onto our $2200 cash for almost 3 months, never offered to just hold the 25%, never offered anything except empty promises of communication. Never called or emailed about delivery delays after repeatedly GAURANTEEING me they would.And then, wouldnt cancel our order because my wife wasnt with me. At the time of writing this, theyve still got our $2200. Just a disgrace and will not be spending money there in the future.EDIT in reply to their response.It had in no way to do with the fact the product was delayed. It was the way you handled the delay. Are you dense? Also, this had nothing to do with security of information. I provided you ALL of the information. I did not ask for any information, I just wanted to cancel the order.

The staff is not pushy at all, they are literally there just to help you understand the difference in the appliance they sell. I would recommend them.

The salesman person was very nice and helpful BUT we waited for 1:45 minutes to get our recliner loaded. We had another engagement to get to and we were very late because of this. I even had to call customer service to finally get us loaded. Asked to see about having to delivered and it was going to take over 3 weeks. Not happy at all

Evidently an individual here likes to call in an rattle their mouth on people using their parking lot for a short time. ( not over night parking). Sorry to say but a sour attitude to others is a bad business practice in opinion. Needless to say sounds like they got to much time on their hands. Least I know I won’t be shopping here for furniture in the future. Had it in the agenda but not after this ordeal.

I’ve been dealing with Nebraska Furniture Mart for over a month now. April and Cynthia from accounting were awful to deal with neither of them offered help or other solutions for me. Spoke with someone else and was told I overpaid due to the two girls in accounting screwing me over and that I would be getting a 108 dollar refund. 2 weeks later still no refund in the mail so I call and ask to speak to a manager. Asked the manager Clair that I spoke with to call me either way if I wasn’t got to be getting the refund or not... now a week later I did not receive a call. There is a note in my account from 4 days ago saying that I would not be getting the refund. Needless to say NO ONE at NFM has any customer service and the manager who should show better customer service also has none! And as for my refund, I guess keep it for your MONEY HUNGRY company. I will never buy anything from them again!

We ordered a freezer online on may 25th 2020 with the delivery date of August 3rd. Then the delivery date was changed to August 31st without notifying us and now 2 business days before the expected delivery date it is December 31st!!!! Service representatives were not customer service oriented. We remember why we dont buy anything from them, as our washer and dryer were delivered late 9 years ago...Update 10/2/202 if we could give ZERO stars we would!We talked to more than one service representatives during this process. We even had one tell us that if we could get a freezer elsewhere then we should. (Guessing due to supply and demand they were selling the same freezer for more money) Our freezer from home depot was delivered in 2 weeks on Sept 14th 2020! We also purchased a larger freezer for only $40 more. We would have liked a more local company, but the customer service at nebraska furniture mart was horrible.

Everytime we go into Nebraska Furniture Mart we are greeted immediately and receive top notch customer service. We were trying to figure out solution for flooring for our entryway, living room and hallway. Noel was a great resource. With his help we were able to find our flooring and schedule a measurement appt with ease. We are looking forward to NFM completing this project. We have had previous experience with them and wouldnt go anywhere else.
