Approach road is in bad condition and narrow. At least should be well coordinated at both ends for vehicle crossings. Entry is PKR 500 per head, adjustable in food/activities. Worth the effort and money. Good family place and beautiful cabins/huts.

The place is extremely beautiful. Scenery is breathtaking. Loved the whole experience tho extreme rain ruined our plans but we had fun except food. Food was horrible and we werent allowed to take outside food along. Other than that staff and owner himself was very hospitable and welcoming

Alhamdulilah its a nice place to visit. It offers boating, Ski Jet water sports, paragliding, cliff diving and a fun family place. The water is simply beautiful and you can revive the inner peace over there.

We went for the first time, and took the wrong road, which was quite bumpy. The proper road was on the other side. Basically you have to take the exit where the board says ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE BHAMALA. It takes you straight to the mabali island without damaging your car.The commute was worth it because the place was serene and beautiful. They have water activities and parachuting as well. Since the place isnt known to many yet, so the place isnt over crowded which gives you the breathing space to relax with it calming waters and scenery.

It was quite a good experience, we came here with a family on Sunday and we felt that it was quite a good family place to visit. Sports activities needs more improvements. We tried ski jet, zip lining, motor boating, all the prices are also not too high. A must visit place if you are looking some nice place near Islamabad.

If you are using a vehicles with low ground clearance, it may be a problem but it is doable.The resort is a family cum adventure resort that has been very aesthetically developed. It contains few huts / cottages for night stay, a very well furnished lounge, a big open air restaurant area, very well maintained lawns, boating/kayaking areas, zipline, archery and few more adventure activities. At night, they have a regular campfire.Resort Restaurant has limited options on the menu card but the quality of cooking as well as presentation is very good. Mostly basic Pakistani karahi and BBQ dishes in Chicken.There are few very nicely built cottages for night stay. The best of them all is the Stone House that has been very aesthetically and imaginatively developed around a large size rocky area. Other rooms are in a good setting and are much smaller and cheaper.The staff is very friendly and efficient. The resort is being managed by a couple and they are there to supervise most activities. Will go there again.

Overall place is fine but prices are not meeting the overall services. Jetski is given only for 5 min and family ride on boat for 7,8 mins max, that include the return. Food is fine but delivering time is very long, they should include more water activities and make sure people are getting the services they paid for.

Its a nice place for families. Very welcoming. The environment is clean and friendly. Alot of fun and affordable water activities aswell. The food is decent too. However, we went during the day around 1pm and the weather was scorching hot so that kind of killed the buzz a little bit but I look forward to revisiting once the weather gets a bit colder.P.s the boat ride costed 2000rs for 8 people however it was a very short ride.And the road leading to Mabali doesnt have direction boards so its easy to get lost on the way and the road isnt built proper its just a muddy pathway that can be improved aswell.

Worst management ever, they would come up with any excuse saying that its their policy or something for not serving you.Entry fee is must which is not refundable but can be adjusted when you order some food.Food isnt worth value for money and when you order something they simply say that it will take a lot of time so why dont you just beat it.Overall experience was bad. A full-fledged water sports and luxury resort in the middle of nowhere at Khanpur Dam. Purposefully built away from commercial locations, nature lovers going to love it.Great water sports instructors and fully trained professionals. Quite affordable and a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The place is good and OK to go for as a full day activity! But the activities shown on their official website are a bit exaggerated. I mean the Tarzan cliff jump was only around 10 feet high. The zip line was also not as long as that is on the actual Khanpur dam, the jet ski round was hardly for one minute and then you are not allowed to do jet ski on your own.The food was good, and the view as well.

1: Far from main road and road condition is very Bad and if we talked about the behavior Admin staff that is present at entry point in office at right side is very casual and they have no sense how to treat their guests,No taste of food, in the end just want to say.. Very casual behavior of Mr Safdar and his Nephew (Jis ny itni dur islamabad sy jana ha lake view park chala jay or lahore sy Ravi picnic mananay chala jay) Itni dur anay ki koi zarorat nahi....

This is our first visit. I believe its a new setup but is being wonderfully managed. It offers a wide range of activities, good bbq food and clean facilities. The access road is a mud track, which I believe would be difficult to manage in rainy season.

Beautiful place for families and couples to come and enjoy. Its near the khanpur dam. The road to mabali is slightly challenging to reach and lacks clear signage. However once you reach there its awesome. Its beautiful resort type place which is a combination of peaceful scenery and conventional facilities like amazing washrooms, sitting areas, food service, activities like zip line, boating, surfing and many more. All and all a beautiful place to visit. There are camps available for families or groups to spend nights there as well.

The vibe was nice. The road (especially the last kilometer long patch) sucked tho.

A very nice place offering range of quality outdoor entertainment activities , water sports, zip line etc. Nice ambience, family seating area with clean grounds, bathrooms, tuc shop and a restaurant. ONLY and BIGGEST problem was the route and sign posting, there was mud track for almost 2 KMs with no direction posting etc. Google maps lead us to a closed narrow village track and it took us 20 mins to come back in reverse gear. We trued second route option and ended in to a mud maze with no indication to any park/spot. We followed the tyres on track and helped ourself in that barren place. By the time we reached Mabali, sun was almost set and they told us that water sports will close at dusk time so we have 20 mins to take them. We were alreadt worried to reach back safe so just took the activities and left in less than hour before it got dark. Overall a nice place but need better management and approach.

The place itself is good. A cool view of the Khanpur Dam. Food is okay, as far as BBQ is concerned. But they really seem to be under-staffed. I had to run back n forth b/w the staff to get my ordered food in 50+ mins, instead of 30 mins wait time that they told while ordering.The road leading to this place really needs a work. Not sure if all these tourist spots have taken it up with the authorities. The old khanpur dam road really needs a major revamp.

I have visited this place for the first time yesterday. It is a nice place with natural beauty. One thing is not good, indoor sitting is not offered which makes it very difficult to spend time during the day time or sunny days. The huts are made of bamboos and near water, so you can feel hot and humid air. The place where you dine is also outside, basically its a shade made of bamboos with only 2 fans. The prices are a bit high, for zip line they charge 500, for boating with family 2000, for solo boating 700, platter 950-1000, if you dont eat or use any facility you also have to pay entrance fee. If you want to visit, keep your pockets full.

Mabali Resort/Island is a must go place for every family and couple. What a peaceful environment there is. I celebrated my birthday with my beloved. Its a very clean and healthy place with full of sports/water sports activities. The view is simply mesmerising.

I experienced to stay at Mabali island on 6 Nov 2020. Place is good to enjoy water sports. However,, worst night stay. Camping is such pathetic. Highly inexperienced staff. Do not lookafter customer well. Sleepless night in camp. Sleeping bags provided were of very cheap quality, only for 5 feet human. Pilow were only very small sofa cusion. I will never recommend rather force people NOT to stay night. At Mid night, we went to sleep and found even blankets are not complete. 3rd class night stay. Will never visit again.

Place was very good but it was strange that dispite of paying so much money they didnt even offer water.. I asked for water and they said buy from cafeteria.... What??? You dont even have water to offer your guests who are travelling from far away cities? So bad..... Waiters were were unprofessional and rude... Buffet came with boiling hot water. One of the best places to spend anniversaries or birthdays!Whats great: The management was fairly responsive and accommodating on their WhatsApp; the staff is amazingly courteous and modest; the arrangements were meticulously made.What can be better: the road from the main road to the premises is nothing shy of a dirt track; the food was decidedly sub-par, there was no lighting arrangements at the raft.All in all, a great experience, indeed! Ill be visiting again, possibly be trying their lounges for an overnight stay.
