Well preserved Church built by the British Army in 1844.

The Holy Trinity Church is located close to the hustling and bustling Zainab Market. The church was built in 1855 and is still functional. It was one of the first major churches in Karachi and was designed by Captain John Hill of Bombay Engineers.The structure had an unusually tall tower which was also used a lighthouse for the ships that arrived at the Karachi Harbor and was the main source of generating funds for the place.However, the church had undergone major renovation in 1906 due to its weak foundations that resulted in the size of the tower to be considerably reduced and the hut style roof was replaced by a visible curved top. The tower of the historic church is now only 110 ft in length.

I attended the mass twice since now. One at 8am and one at 9am. Both masses are in English. Families usually attend the 9am mass.The preaching was great.I am a Mormon but since I havent been to churches for a long time so I went to this one. When they gave out sacrament they gave me wine to drink.Just so all Mormons know.
