City station is one of the oldest place in karachi. It is located on II Chundrigar Road which stated as the most busiest road of karachi. This station is headquarters of the Pakistan Railways Karachi Division. This is historical and beautiful.

It is a historical Railway Station more then 100 years old constucted by British when they were rule in Indo Pak. Some important and famous trains like Hazara express, Bolan mail, Bahaodin Zikria Express starts and terminate at Karaci City station. There is also Divisional Superimtendent Office Pakistan Railways which is Railways Karachi Head office situated on this station. Its building is a historical and has unique old look. Many Pakistani TV Dramas like MERY PASS TUM HO and Films were shooted on different locations and in the Station building.

The station is pretty beautiful and there no too much queue like Karachi cant station have. The behavior of Staff is too good and they listen ur complaint and also solve it.

This station is best for buying tickets. Crowd is more less than cantt station.

A very critical piece of history for Karachi but sadly it is not well maintained. The minute you walk into the station you will see rusted metal and scraping walls everywhere.

Cant Park your vehicle here because there has no proper parking space.

Excellent and huge but absolutely no basic necessities for visitors, no proper sitting arrangements although reservations are not hectic but no fans or air conditions so this makes it tough waiting in the Ques. Parking facilities are good.

Karachi City Station is equipped with all basic facilities. The station has current and advance reservation offices for Pakistan Railways as well as cargo and parcel facilities. Retail shops are found on platform 1. Due to the lack of space, most passenger trains have since been moved to Karachi Cantonment Station.

U can buy tickets for train all over pakistan.big parking area .employee at counter not efficient. There is no token machine (cantt station have it).usually trains start from cantt station.its only for buying tickets.cafe teria Available. Not much variety of food.reasonable price.nk washroom and other facilities. Sometimes employee behave rudely. National identity card is mandatory for buying tickets. However on 1 card you can buy many tickets
