Very very excellent experience in this jail. Ive dont want to get out from there but unfortunately my punishment was ended so I they kicked me out. The food was also very good.

Staff is not kind at all specially jail superintendent I’ve been there for several times food is cheap actually it’s totally free all people those who are living there are quite friendly and cooperative I strongly suggest you to go to this place at least once a year

Yar i really miss my time ther.The only thing i disliked was the lack of poor data signals and lack of being allowed to exit.If you want an experience then simply kill a person or two and youll be given a membership of a few years.

I dont have anykind of personal experience but heard too many things on media. Bad things is that mobile jammer in jail which occurs problem for the residents of this area. Government need to shift this jail somewhere else instead of the mid of city.

Central Prison Karachi is a prison in the city of Karachi in Sindh, Pakistan. It houses more than 4800 prisoners including convicted terrorists[2] that include militants who attempted to assassinate President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf.[3] CPK, was established in the year 1899 for 591 prisoners while population of a newly growing city of Karachi was a little more than around hundred thousand people. Now that the city boasts of having around 20 million inhabitants, the same CPK along with District Jail Mailr is accommodating more than half of the entire Prison Population in the province of Sindh. (There are around 19000 inmates in 27 Prisons of the province out of which more than 10,000 are incarcerated in these two jails in the city of Karachi). The city requires at least one district jail in its every administrative district so that jails may be easily managed and inmates may get benefit from true correctional programs and initiatives.

Date reviewed January 2019. Better be shifted outside the city, to outskirts where the environment is healthy. The inmates of this place are captives. Why should they live in a heavily polluted atmosphere? This huge plot should be used for making an urban jungle, FREE, non-electric, manual Rides park and parking plaza for public..

This is the prison for all kinds of Convicted or under trail Prisoners of Karachi City. What we usually do is try going there every Ramzan Eid, and see who all seem innocent victims, and who dont have enough money to bail themselves out. like a person serving a year, who doesnt have Rs 2000 to pay and get himself released. So we collect our EIDI, along with friends and go to the JAIL, have their cases processed & get them released so they can work better, and If possible we also provide them a Small JOB

Good in terms of jail management however, surrounding public is very affected by Jail Mobile jammers.

Good place to eat theirs special daal and naan.
