Ned Takes in donkeys from the system adds zero value, hands over diplomas.Thank you NED!That is the general impression.Fees are cheap and very affordable what really you’d expect at this price.You get diploma, you get job that’s it, but is it?Students here are the cream of Karachi, the highest merit people, who should go a long way for the development of this country.This place could really do more..I think and I wish..I personally Love NED but please government and concerned authorities do more.. this crowd could do more.. this uni can do more..It has left so much to wish for in terms of personality development, grooming, confidence building and so much more. I continue to respect this institution for its merit intakes and education for all (poor or rich)policy but I really wish that more research based studies are introduced, extra curricular is more organized, more concentration on self grooming and recognizing different talents is made, students are more trained and encouraged towards taking part in research at all levels, thinking big attitude is taught and more pragmatic corporate attitudes are induced.

Ned the best engineering institute through out the Pakistan. It is the semi-government university and have the low semester fees here. Recently they introduced a New Course Learning Outcome (CLO) Program here for every course approved by the HEC THROUGH WHICH YOU HAVE TO get passing marks criteria.They also have the trough cricket ground and a soccer field and the gymnasium for both boys and girls and have the indoor games facilities.

The annual degree awarding ceremony of the NED University of Engineering and Technology was held on Saturday. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah was the chief guest and former federal minister Javed Jabbar also attended as a special guest.The number of graduates for the year 2017 was 2,024, of which 803 graduated from the master’s programme, while the total number of students awarded degrees was 1,812. Two students, Dr Sana Arshad and Dr Mirza Muhammad Ali Beg, were also awarded doctorates in philosophy while 24 students were awarded gold medals.

It is a good educational institude. But it takes in all the students without reviewing their marks or grade but the teachers are highly educated. Building is in great condition and stand by generator are also installed. It has a very large area of open space but they should plant trees it is empty. It has a big name across pakistan. MOST of the students pass with GOOD marks but half of them are failures. It is not so great but it is a good and well known name of educational institute

Founded in 1921 to provide training to civil engineers working in building the Sukkur Barrage, the university came to its modern form after being established by the British government.[4] The university is named for its benefactor, donor, and philanthropist, Nadirshaw Eduljee Dinshaw by the government.[4] Besides its focus on science and engineering programmes, the university offers academic programmes in Engineering, Science, and Architecture for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies.[4] The university is also a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom.[5][4] The university offers graduate and post-graduate degrees in engineering and allied disciplines. Indeed the university is one of the top universities of Sindh. The total western system of education and curriculum are followed. But the only drawback of NED is the lack of teacherss skills and excellence to deliver the best quality lecture. Rather a majority of the teachers have poor ability to teach.The administration have also gone worse.
