The 5 years that I spent at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture were life changing. I can’t imagine how else would I have discovered myself. IVS was built upon principles that were very true and close to heart for the founders. I think that it was their vision and values that has taken this institution so far. I never fail to visit IVS when I am in Karachi. I still find the same dedication in IVS students as I saw 20 years ago.IVS is a rigorous institution. If you are reading this and considering this institution for further education please know that the study load would be back breaking. You will not have much time to socialize outside of the IVS circle. But it’s all worth it. Please also understand that the admission process is as tough for the school as it is for the students. A lot of well deserving students are not selected simply because there was someone ahead of them. If you want to study here, please keep applying and don’t get disheartened. I personally guarantee that there are some very honest people looking at your application.

IVS is the learning school for you if you want to pursue a degree in Arts in Karachi. It is situated in an enabling environment that has excellent architecture. Very high standards and good learned faculty. No parking issues as it is in Clifton and has a spacious area. Clean and neat environment. Diploma courses are also available. If you want to take small elementary introductory courses IVS offers these courses to you.

Indus valley school of arts building is unique. The old building was set to be demolished but the founders decided to save the building, it was cut in pieces and reassemble at present site.
