Love the easy ambiance..the well mannered service and good food at a g8 price.

DHA Club. PKR8000 for 2 single beds. very tight rooms with not much space to move around. I believe PKR19000 for bigger family rooms. membership required. no chapal allowed. nice and clean as usual. lot of events. busy place at the evening and nights. swimpool, movie nights, tambola, tennis courts. bigger room for family and smaller room for 2 persons. bigger room has 2 rooms and sitting area. extra mattress can be requested (not free - PKR300). breakfast is free with your staying till 10am but service on breakfast is very slow. it took than 45 minutes to receive fried eggs and it was not busy time. two time u had to send uncooked eggs back. first time fried eggs went back because everything was running including white and 2nd time boiled eggs went back, when i open it, all water including white came out. both time 30 minutes gap in between food delivery.

I like Defence Authority Club.I am a member and my son also.All the facilities are exemplory and so is the member class.

The outdoor area is massive, with innovative landscaping, dancing fountains and colored lights that they frequently change to keep visitors astounded. There are swing sets and see-saws spread across the lawns and for teenagers and adults, they have tennis and squash courts.Other than that the Defence Authority Club also provides swimming and gym facilities. Members have access to a small movie theater which can be booked for larger parties in advance. The club also has a beauty salon which I have observed to be one of the busiest centers within the club.My favorite aspect of the club is their dining facility where food is always laid out in a Buffet, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ranging from BBQ to Italian cuisine, there is so much to be enjoyed at the club and every item is of the highest standard in both taste and cleanliness.

DACC is known as mother of all DHA clubs, inaugurated nearly 50 years ago, the claim is justified too. Looking back some 15 years, this club, was the in thing for old Defencies, in the evening ppl with their Tennis racquet used to throng in for a game, swimmers used to wade through clear waters of swimming pool, and to top it all a very tasty and taste dining experience was handy at the club house cafeteria, not forgetting the limited but high standard lodging facilities. Good invoirment nd food

This is an elegant club exclusively for members and only those can become member who are also members of Defence Housing Authority.Well maintained neat and clean club with atmosphere of a continent.The food quality is good with a large variety of mouth watering dishes to choose from, well maintained swimming pool, tennis court and residential hostel. Lots of social activities keep taking place and its always a fun to visit this club.

The one star means that the delay was tooooooooo long.

A very nice place for official parties. The best thing here is that the waiters are very well trained. You dont need to tell them what to do and what not do in case youre going to arrange an official party. The waiters entertain each guests as per required protocol. Moreover, Food taste is outclass

Our family has been members of this club since 30+ years. The food quality keeps on getting better. Plenty of sports facilities and other amenities available. Service is always top class

Good place to spend your time in evenings. Good and hygienic food nice atmosphere but the lawn side is not good enough. The place is having humps and most of the lawn is missing the grass. Not maintained properly.

It is very nice as the place has got enough ground for sitting out side and enjoy evening days in summer.

Its one of oldest clubs in DHA. Their food is very nice. They have indoor as well as outdoor sitting. There are halls which can be booked for functions like birthday, anniversary or even wedding.

A small but decent and smart community setup indicative of beautiful traditions of armed forces. The place has a formal dinning room to dine in as well as host family events, a juice shop & cafeteria, sun room, temp controlled swimming pool, beauty parlour, bakkery, library, gym and guest rooms. Above all, a decent sized lawn for outdoor events. Overall a great place to be.

Defence Authority Club in Phase II is one of the oldest clubs in DHA Karachi. I remember having lunch at the club many many years ago and enjoying the great soup and main course options. I also had my wedding reception in the lawns of the Defence club. However when I recently visited the club for brunch, I was really disappointed with the experience. The whole experience was not positive. The dining hall was a hall and not a place to enjoy a meal. The interior were absolutely poor choice of colours and fabrics No aesthetics involved in offering a warm and welcoming feeling. The furniture was very basic and the table cloth was still showing evidence of stains Also the buffet was at best of a 3 star hotel. The food was cold , the nan and rotis were not warm Some of the available dishes were empty. The salad section was minimal and no options for vegetarian except for the aalo chana. The service was mediocre at best

Been coming here since 25+ years....if u live in Defence phase 1 or 2, its a convenient club...food and facilities r fine.

Best place to relax your mind, get fresh with the awesome Sunset View and evening time.

Great location, they have pool and a cinema. Well managed. Its a typical country club for army and navel officers. Wonderful place to spend the evening. Most importantly they have wheelchair access. The guest rooms are very comfortable.

Large building good lawn. However service was slow and food took a long time to prepare and at end food was pedestrian. I have eaten here a number of times and food is always tasteless or plain bad. Whatever good there is in the building and ambience is destroyed by bad food.

Defence authority club is the oldest club in defence Karachi most of the reputed members are retired Army officers this club is located in defence phase 2 it is facilities of Squash Swimming Pool Tennis Court table tennis snooker many others supported by top of the line food service with a variety from Continental to desi food .I would say they have the best food out of DHA club .Please note theye have limited membership and I haveRecently heard that they dont serve foreigners .

Its a good place to be there but not take membership. Today I have been there for Iftari. Food was in good quantities and fresh. However all food were low in taste. Juices were having only colour not the flavour. Edibles were cold and had less taste. Ambiance was good, service was excellent and staff was cordial.

I attended the Pakistan day resolution day 23rd March thinking that there would be some good mature speakers who would re-enlighten us with details of Pakistan movement which started from 1940 with showing us with multimedia presentation and videos etc etc. I was rather shocked to see small school children to speak instead who spoke I dont know what because I could not understand what they were saying. Instead these children should have those speeches read at their school and could have heard the mature speakers here at the club as a learning experience.

Excellent palce to have good fun time with family and friends, amenities include tennis court, rabble tennis, badminton, swimming pool & and good buffet with live music. Open only for members and there invited guests. It also offer rooms for rent to members and there guests.

The quality of everything has gone down drastically if compared with 10 years ago when I visited this place last time. But rates are still reasonable. But quality I mean room service washrooms meal etc

Defence Club has a homely feel to it. Good outdoor setting, brilliant pool. Best part being they give temporary memberships to outsiders as well. Their buffet can be worked on. Ala Carte is not bad..I like it as it has outdoor seating. Plus you can sit indoors if its not outside as well. The bakery has fresh products available.

Nice n calm place for socializing. They have very well maintained indoor pool with trainer facility. Evenings here specially enjoyable in lawn with reasonably good service sometime with live music, sometime with movie and some other activity.Their breakfast menu is really good and recommended.

The staff was very welcoming. We had a lunch party, and the food was great. Quite a variety of dishes, mostly Pakistani food. They have rooms for staying which are good. Only issue is that access to the rooms is from open balcony and not from indoor corridors
