Big masjid

Very large and well maintained mosque. The Imam Bargah has wide open yard and beautifully designed interior. I went there to attend funeral ceremony of a friend sister and amused to learn that this mosque has arrangements of simultaneous funerals at the same time. There are various shops mostly selling religious emblems, flags, tasbeeh, books etc out of the mosque. Parking may not b an issue there provided the security setup allow it. The area is congested, and densely populated. The main area where the mosque is located is called Ancholi. Famous singer Mehdi Hassan lived there. Majority of the inhabitants are devotes Shia Muslims.
