Going to fruit market or fruit mandi was superb.I dont visit it often but in this trip I learned very interesting facts about how business is conducted .One of the fruit seller narrated the interesting dynamics of this market.I could not believe that strawberries that i buy from DHA or clifton or PECHS cost around 350 to 450 per kg and in this market it was sold at a cost price of 100/kg approx! If you are a fruit lover and want to buy in large quantity and also get best value for money plus freshness of the purchase then visit fruit mandi in the morning. Best time to go is around 9am.No bargains.Fixed prices but very cost effective. The merchants are friendly. I enjoyed a delicious cup of chai with the fruit wala while chatting with him.One more thing if any one needs containers like a plastic box then you should buy it from here.Per box 200. It can be used as a multi purpose container in your store room garden kitchen or garage

Well tbh this is best market when it comes to pricing of vegetables and fruits.It will cost you much less if you go tere for 3 families shopping and divide the expense equally.I encourage families to visit there by them self and do purchasing for 15 days, and both of hem can easily survive 15 days staying fresh. By this act we can save money and by this the vendors will also have to reduce their price in city.NOTE: Make sure to park your car in the Parking ground, or else the security guards would deflate your car tyres :D and yes I have experienced that.
