It was a mistake made that day when I visited Swensens to have some ice cream. I was expecting some good quality ice cream after some good food but my experience was not good. Most of the flavours in the ice cream was not available. The only 3 to 4 flavours out of 15 flavours were mango, strawberry, dark chocolate truffle and cantaloupe. I remember going last time a few months ago and asked the waiter who informed me the same thing he did the other day. He said that the stock has not been imported by the company and is expected by next month. The flavours I ordered was mango and dark chocolate. The ice cream was not fresh and so was the waffle. There was more whipped cream to make the ice cream sweet bigger in size. The ambience was good and the waiters were friendly. Parking was available out side the premises and is not owned by the ice cream parlor. It is located in the busy area of Khayaban e Badar. All in all it was not a good experience and I would recommend this ice cream parlor once the flavours would arrive. However this doesnt seem the case.

Came here for some post dinner dessert, absolutely enjoyed myself. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. The icecream was delicious and fresh. All in all had a great experience. Highly recomend this place. Will definately be back.

Swensens used to be that place that used to be bustling with crowd even it launched initially. Today when we visited half of the part had been rented to kababjees bakers. While the ice cream itself is really good but over it is not much value for money

Visited Swensens, ordered Colt Tower, Frosted Choc Malt Fantasy and Chocolate Lava. Presentation was amazing, one of wafer was bit stale but on complain they bring us a fresh one.A must visit for ice-cream and sundae lovers.Taste = 9/10Flavors =9/10Ambiance = 10/10Cost Efficient = 9/10Would surely go again for new flavors. :-)

It’s not for chocolate lovers. Swensens have a good taste in their Ice Creams flavours.

Went to this over hyped ice cream parlor ordered waffle sundae. The waffle was at least a day old the chocolate syrup was sour the ice cream was average the only thing good about the place was their service. Not going there again but you can engoy the tempting pictures.

I think They serve the best lava cake of karachi The American Tower, oreo brownie and icecream cone were also so on point

Okay, its a nice place to meet people, the vibe is very lively, staff is very very nice. The icrecream itself is okay, nothing special. They have ice cream, brownie, waffles, whipped cream and banana and everything is a combination of these things only. The icrecreams taste is not out of this world too. One scoop with a single topping will cost you around 200 rupees, and anything fancy from their menu starts from 350 rupees. They need to come up with more options.

What a place, nice family environment. All sorts of ice creams and waffles. Weak point nothing is sugar free. Everything contains sugar. Good hygine but less sitting place. Parking is available with good security. Overall out of 10 i will give 7.

Nice place to have ice cream with family. Number of varieties to taste. Its banana strawberry flavour was very good.

They have great ice cream at reasonable prices. Also waffles, sundaes, floats and milkshakes. Only problem is that they are out of some flavors rom time to time. They used to have a large space but now its just two tables.

The presentation was great and the environment was pretty chill as well. I enjoyed the ice cream but the only down side was how it melted too quickly.

I have not had a great experience here. First of all it opens very late in the afternoon. Secondly, when I visited, most of the flavours of ice cream that you want to eat are not available. Otherwise quality of icecream is good.

The nutty flavor and light sprinkling of peanuts on this ice cream come were enjoyable to tasters. On the other hand, most agreed the weird texture hinted to its light and low-cal nature. We had really great time. The environment was good and the service was really quick.

Another foreign name that arrived in Pakistan couple of years ago with a smallish range of ice creams, shakes and smoothies. Today there was no chocolate flavour available in any form. Only six flavours to choose from in ice cream and of course the new Mango milkshake was better than expected. Reasonably priced, clean with limited parking outside, in a busy commercial area. Well worth a try.

The best ice cream in Pakistan I tried so far.... Their Sunday is amazing. I tried their flavor Macadamia and very strawberry and let they are the best. I tried Baskin and Robinson many time before but I keep Swenens at the top. Saddened to hear from the employees that this brand is going to close soon.

Went to have dessert here after a good meal with 6 friends. Upon ordering from their extensive menu, the waiter conveniently tells us that theyve run out of chocolate. How can you run an ice cream place with out chocolate flavored ice cream?!

Ive been going to Swensens since the 80s when I was a kid and had great expectations. However, Swensens is the worst in Karachi. They NEVER have trademark flavours in stock or any other flavour of chocolate for that matter. Its been months. Wont be visiting here again.

Good ice cream but there’s not much variety of flavors. We had the Topless Five bowl - the presentation of which is a disaster. I expected some color, perhaps sliced fruits on the side or some syrup or perhaps even a colored bowl. Charge us more but at least present it better!

An outstanding ice cream parlor where good quality and fresh ice cream with unique standards and methods is served. Neat and clean environment with very efficient and intelligent service staff. The taste and standard of ice cream is simply outstanding. Rates are also very reasonable. Being managed very professionally. Thumbs up for the management.

Taste is good but prices are high. Had many flavors of ice creams but paying this such high prices just for ice creams are not justifiable.

An overrated place with a façade of a lavish and highly reputed one. My expectations melted away like its dying reputation. Even the menu showcased mouthwatering images of neatly presented sundaes out of which about 5% of them were actually available. Dont waste your time visiting this place.

Air conditioning was not working. They had a total of four ice cream flavours and no chocolate. None of the staff was bothered about the upkeep of the place. Seems like its getting ready to shut down. Wouldnt recommend going there any more, especially with the price hikes around the corner

A good place to stop after a full meal for a wide variety of dessert options. Swensens is more expensive than most dessert places in town but the quality and flavour of their ice cream makes up for the price tag.

Swensens is really a worthy addition to the ice cream scene of karachi. A through menu which covers adults and kids all and a make it yourself menu which helps your sweet tooth accordingly.

Ice cream is average, especially if you tasted the same brand abroad and range of selection is narrow.International brands when they come in Pakistan lose their charm.

Good place.Very good presentation of ice creams they serve BUT.. who puts a banana in an ice cream?? It ruins the taste. Did not taste all the flavours off course but what I had deserved 3 stars.

Great ice cream. Macha, mint and bubblegum are mist try flavors and one of the best banana split Ive ever had.

The icecream is good. Sitting and service is great. Could do with availibility of some more flavours though. Also parking can often be a nuisance and theres no valet so dont go during peak hours since the place is often crowded as well.

Its always crowded for a reason. Good desserts especially their icecream which i think is underrated. The green tea flavor was just too good. Service is quick and efficient too. Recommended for those late night sweet cravings.

What a cool place it is! Though, they offer a huge and interesting variety of items but its not always that all of those cool items are available. For instance I could be successful in getting my thing after listening sorry, its not available three times. Also, forget any fantasy that youd just go, sit and enjoy your ice cream. The place is too busy to be a romantic one. You, often would have to wait for your turn to go in. I found it so overcrowded that I had to make a take away order.However, after these disappointments Swensens was lucky enough to get marks from me for an exceptionally good taste and quality of their ice-cream and shakes. Its lightness also impressed me.Oh yes, if you are an Imran Abbas fan, let me tell you that he, too, buys ice cream from there. Shhh, its our little secret ;)
