I was skeptical because it was pricey and small portions, and there was a line of about 25 people.However, the ice cream was delicious. I had the malted vanilla, and coffee toffee. Both were excellent, particularly the malted vanilla. It had a great malt taste to it so it was not like any other vanilla ice cream Ive had before. If you like malt, this is a must get!I do wish the portion were larger though. The cup scoops are quite small, and the cup you get is so tiny.

Ice cream was melted. No whipped cream when it said on menu card that the pistachio sundae was served with whipped cream. When we asked the management about it they said cream was not available in Karachi. Price of sundae was about 1200 Rs. Extremely overpriced for two scoops of melted Ice cream. Over all very bad experience. Never going again.

Ice cream was rotten, we returned it with disappointment. Their freezer wasnt working, there was nothing to display at counter. The worst thing was they didnt check the quality before serving and they were serving poisonous food. It was first and last experience.

By all means, if you love ice cream then you got to find your way to Mitchells Ice Cream in Noe Valley, South San Francisco. Ice cream is made fresh daily, and they keep selling until 11 p.m. Selections are divided between traditional flavors (Chocolate Chip, Butterscotch Marble, Oreo Cookie, Pistachio), tropical flavors (Buko Baby Coconut, Avocado, Lucuma, Yam), and sorbets (apricot mango, passion fruit, mango). What you got to tell yourself is its a lot of calories, but its lighter than air! Mitchells is the lightest, and creamiest Ive had in ages. They have been around seventy years, and their summer lines are out the door, but theyre much faster to service the line than their big competitor in South San Francisco, Bi-Rite Creamery. If I had to choose one over the other? Lets put it this way: Anytime Im eating Henry Hunan Chinese for dinner up on Church Street, that means, Ill be walking down two blocks for now on down on 29th Street to San Jose Avenue where Mitchells is at afterwards. I think Ill be making that my own tradition. All ice cream believably tastes like it was churned just hours ago, no freezer tub work. Mitchells has been around for nearly seventy years, and they may have been god-sent. #godswitness
