It is responsible for training the bulk of local cardiac physicians, nurses and paramedics throughout the country.

Today I went to NICVD and I was impressed to see the arrangements there because of COVID-19. No one is allowed to enter without reason or prior appointment. After entrance help desks are available which guide you for the rest of procedure and at every step courteous staff is present to help the patients. In short it was good experience and Management is really doing great job in such difficult times of COVID-19 .

Professional & Qualified Doctors, Trained and co operative Staff.They Allowed only 1 person with patient in COVID-19 during day time. They not allowed even 1 person with patient during night.My Patient was in serious condition but they not allowed between 10:00 pm to 7:00am .Atleast they allowed 1 person with 1 patient Who take care of patient.Btw Alhamdullilah am satisfied with hospital.May Allah give more success to Doctors and Staff. I have found this place very interesting. They are very restrict in their policies and similarly very quick in taking care of patients. I would recommend this place for all the heart paitients who dont want to pay nonsense charges in private hospitals. Government section of this hospital is verse than third class hospital. Here appointments for specialist are given in months like if you want appointment of a specialist they will give you time in months but if you gave source you can meet at same day without any appointment. Same if you are suggested for operation they will ask you give us file and we will call you 2 to 4 days before operation. After that you have to wait for years like one of my relative still waiting for call from hospital. This is very irritating situation.

Its a semi government institute providing treatment for heart diseases in children and adults. It has a cath lab and other advanced facilities. However, its very overburdened hospital so patient care is compromised. There are 2-3 patients on a single bed in the pediatric ward. The cost for heart surgeries is high for poor patients. The federal and provincial governments must pay attention for the well being of the poor masses.

The NICVD is one of very few Pakistan peoples partys Sindh government did great work on..Right now they are advance than ever, but there still is a lack of beds in paeds general ward, so the patients have to take patience and share the bed with one other, but I must say most of the staff especially in paeds department is fast, hardworking and dedicated..So, 3 stars for the institution of NICVD and one extra for the staff..

Director NICVDIts matter of utter shame and sheer disappointment to see the pathetic service and highly disappointing behavior of your staff. You can certainly give thousands of reasons of lack of budget (though its not even true as you have ample resources) but there can be no reason of poor behavior of your staff towards already stressed patients and their attendants.

Good but like other hospitals of sindh there is political influence. I saw posters of pakistani politicians in hospital. I have heard there r also units of political parties in nicvd. Hospitals should be poltics free. Hope healthcare facilities r not influenced by these politicians and there workers.
