Karachi shipyard and Engineering Works is a government organisation with the speciality in ship building. It is specialised in making both commercial and Naval ships. Ranging from huge oil tankers to tugs and boats, it has the capability and all the requisite capabilities including facilities, equipment HR and R&D. Shipyard is currently expanding its capacity and in a span of few years shipyard will offer a wide range of product portfolio.

It is the shipyard where I had the opportunity to work for a short while. It was a very proud event to be involved in the Fleet Tanker Project by the STM company to the Pakistan Navy. For forty-five days of my stay here, I had the opportunity to establish very good friendships. were still meeting with friends here today through whatApp. I hope this tanker, which is currently being used by the Pakistan Navy, will perform successful missions.
