Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center (JPMC) is considered as one off the largest government run medical facilities. It comprises of almost all departments including an emergency unit. The medical equipment for treatment available is said to be state of art technology. The one area that can be worked on is the cleanliness factor as the visitors to not observe the discipline required to keep it clean. Overall, the hospital is doing incredible work to treat patients free of charge.

A good place for free treatment in ER. Doctors are qualified and hard working. Facilities are less for admitted patients, many times syringes and medications has to be purchased by poor patients which is not justified as its government hospital. Route to hospital is heavily trafficked. This road needs to be more wider and well controlled by traffic police as most of the emergencies in city comes here.

I first visisted jinnah two days ago with my mother.She got bells palsy on her left side of the face.I thought as we heard about all government places that you will have to wait in a queue and wait for your turn so long.Fortunately, it didnt happen to be a wrong choice for us as there was only one row where a person is writing ur basic information on the given list and send you to the specific room no.As we entered the room, there were about 6 to 8 doctors busy in their discussion.when we asked who will check the patient he calmly check my mother and asked the symptoms and observation of the disease and then he explained it very well .it seems that we were being treated in private hospital very well.Thankyku JPMC for a wonderful experience we really need your support .Special thanks to( Dr Adeel )of neurology department.

JPMC is the most affordable hospital in Karachi and the services are very good. One suggestion that is please build a waiting lounge for breast feeding mothers.

Jinnah granted the approval with the condition that the hospital be opened to the public.In 1952, Dow Medical College was attached with the Jinnah Central Hospital. Then after a consolidation of many departments and laboratories in the area, an updated medical institution was opened. The opening ceremony was a big event on 11 April 1959 with President of Pakistan Ayub Khan addressing the audience on the occasion.[1]In 2007, then Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaukat Aziz formally spoke at the foundation-stone laying ceremony of JPMC Medical Towers and a five-star hotel project.[3]

Jinnah hospital is the worst hospital, the conditions that patients are subjected to frequentlyamount to a gross abuse of human rights. patients must spend hours waitingjust for a file; there is no bed, often patients share a bed with another patient, and whenhospital buildings are infested with grime and rubbish and one nurse is expected tomanage an over-crowded ward single-handedly, then it is patently obvious that therights of patients are not being respected and that urgent action is required.
