The worst experience ever had in this hospital, I came from Oman for delivery of baby recommended by the consultant. On reservation they charged me 135000 PKR, once c section done for my wife she and the new born immediately transferred to room with premier package in full private room. Hygiene situation of the staff and the doctors was very bad, on duty doctor not response and having attitude problems, such kind people should not be in this profession. I made 100 of complain but no action taken its better to go to Jinnah hospital and save your money the pay money in OMI

Extremely Ill-mannered, lazy and rude staff...They should start training their staff as they lack basic manners and dont know how to treat the customer/patient. Upon asking, they dont even guide you properly...

Neat and clean environment, helpful admin staff and nurses, surgeons are experienced and perfectionist.

Orthopaedic and Medical Institute. Private, hygienic but such an expensive hospital. They charge almost 4xtimes higher. Simple example is my recent wrist fracture that other hospital cost me 1000/- for the plaster and OMI plaster service is 8000/-. That just too high

Here is my suggestion that such kind of hospital should be extended to other parts of Karachi city so that peoples can be benefited from such best medical facilities at large.

I Was on a visit to Karachi and had to take to my wife to an ENT for an Emergency. Very nice professional experience at National Hospital. I later visited ENT Consultant Dr. Shakil Aqil through a reference. He has NO respect for Time, arriving one hour late and keep patients waiting. Doctor May be professional but his assistant/ Office Secretary for Appointments severely lacks ethics, ripping patience for charges. Issuing Bogus receipts with no counter file receipts (probably avoiding Tax), even the Doctor is not clear on charges by his staff. Charges must be displayed even reduced fee for repeat visit.I need a clarification And response on above.

Worst hospital, behaviour of staff frustrating, secrecy of medical reports during admission time for charging to continue and avoid discharge. Behaviour of staff and doctors is very rude in in-patient department. There is no co-ordination between staff and doctors. The language of doctors is worst and they wont talk with you regarding patient conditions. Admission formalities are about one hour until patient gets exausted. They keep dictated policies which they wont give you in written. They will ask you so many signatures on various pro-hospital form but they will not give any receiving on document submitted by you rather say you can leave hospital if you dont agree. NMC is very good in contrast, as they provide online portal where you can download lab reports online easily.

Very bad services. I had gallbladder surgery today I am fasting since yesterday 9 am and its again 9 am next day abd they did not provide patient first meal. upon asking the staff they said there is not meal in your package. I was astonished my package is 110,000/- and they are saying this do not include patients meal???.Apart from that I had to call nursing staff myself if I am in pain. No duty Dr came to see me whole night. She also visited me upon my request. Very disappointed with the service I would not recommend anyone to go for any procedure here. Strongly discourage OMI hospital.

A good hospital of the city of lights located in Saddar, doctors are good and so is the security.

Treatment of broken bones and general hospital

Had very bad experience with this hospital, I have tried to get the details for a doctor and the person behind their official phone number was way to Ill mannered ! Upon my confirmation that is it Omi he said yes and then I have asked for the doctor he simply kept me on hold for a never ending wait. Really very bad and shameful act !

Clean hospital, but during emergency they ask to fill form first at counter, that is not means that they need information of patients , that means they need money first before treatment. Emergency is Totally opposite and negative vs Agha Khan and other good hospital. They should change the name of Emergency into Prepaid Emergency. Other all services are best . I have bring 6 times my patients her, every thing satisfactory but emergency terms and condition is worst. Hope they will upgrade it. Life if precious than collection of money.

Centrally located.nice building.decent staff good security and hygienic by pakistani standard.doctors mostly good but bossy.nursing and paramedics good by local standard but low by international standard.very expensive and overpriced services.almost same cost as western countries or singapore but one fifth the standard and one third the outcome of treatment.If you are rich and in karachi then this is one of the few choices.how unfortunate citizens of this city are?

I appreciate the over all cleanliness, reasonable good service of hospital as it should be. But the charges are just too high. In some cases higher than other hospitals or equal to Agha Khan hospital. This is just not worthy to be preferred, instead it is better to visit Agha Khan or Ziauddin rather than OMI.

My review is based solely on their Dr Aslam Parvez who is an orthpaedic surgeon there. He is an excellent surgeon based on my own personal experiences.Other than that, its a very expensive hospital for private patients. There is a serious issue of car parking as well.

This hospital is a money making institute and a killer plant for poor innocent people . They are looting money on the name of panel specially with National bank of Pakistan . I want to tell all the people in Pakistan and specially in Karachi please dont ever go to this hospital for any kind of treatment . Their dr Parveen so called cardiologist and quack Dr Razaq Memon almost killed my mother who is just 55year old . Both dr fail to manage her Heart condition and diabetes which left her as a end stage heart failure along with uncontrolled diabetes .on the top this quack Razzaq Memon advised my mother to stop taking her Warfarin which she should be taking all of her life but this Quack tried to stop this life saving medicine and also trying to control sugar level with those medicine which are contraindicated in heart failure patients .his license should be cancelled and he should be behind the bars all of his life because my mother case is not only one on his record I am sure he is practicing his quackery from all of his career and and playing with peoples life .Allah ko hisab dainy ka khuwf ho tu he should kill himself but not treat patient like this . Please dont go to OmIs cardiac and diabetes control department they are criminals .i dont wana give any star in my review please consider this a shoe on their face
