Very bad management do not take your love ones there.Cardio Thoracic surgeon Dr Saulat hashmi I would say he took my mothers death in his hand. Can anyone in the whole world do a surgery without seeing a patient no preop assessment done and he did lung operation of my mom. Then post op management was handed over to nurses who were inexperienced, being a Doctor myself i have to call from UK to ask them to do blood test , ABGs are very important test to do and when ever i ask nurses they were saying her vitals are OK and we havent been advice to do bloods, when she was deteriorate we have to ask them to do test lactic and blood cultures than they took notice, on the other hand there was no oncall doctors available if you inquire they simply say that is not hospital policy.Today they put my mother on ventilater after we been telling them for week my mother is oozing from wound they didnt notice and got her infected septicaemia. After intubation she was left with no plans and she deteriorate until she died and even though refuse to do CPR. When we inquire about Dr saulat staff said he is aware of all this he cant come. She could have saved but we made a big mistake taking her there and lost my beloved Mother today is the very sad moment for us. That hospital is just for name do not ever go there. God why we made a big mistake took our mother to that hospital we heard that long ago they always ruin simple cases and than leave untreated. Learn a lesson with a drastic loss of my mother.I hope Dr like Saulat and anesthetist like Imran should or must lost there licence to practice. Who operate patient without seeing them. Is he really a doctor.

They have good doctors, OPDs are not that much good as the reputation, consultation just okay, service, environment almost everything is fine something which isnt good… is the service of Emergency. South City Hospital has way more better emergency services than AKUH, the staf is really not compromising here the will make you wait for hours just for reports and even for medication, they will not listen to you at all, being admitted here is a bad, uncomfortable experience especially in the early hours, even the acute care units have worst services.Dont prefer the ER of AKUH, I repeat Dont!~experience of medical student as a patient

I went to aga khan hospital for a covid test with my daughter for traveling, my daughter tested positive and I tested negative, my daughter had no symptoms, we sleep with my daughter in the same room, same bed, shes always indoors, unlike me who was moving up and about alot, I doubted the results and requested them for a repeat of which they didnt want to repeat despite saying I will pay again, so we decided to go to Nairobi hospital whereby my daughter was retested and she turned negative, I wonder if there was contamination with their testing kit or what was wrong, I also wonder why they were so resistant when I wanted a repeat test!!!

A very common practice in easy Go, mismanagement’s not knowing the what theOrgniztion is doing, Or Pushing the Job to Next, Not answering as per the Need of Question. These Phones are for the Name sake or Fill in the Blanks only So a useless office or Support System. Better Save that Money for the Owner. One call was 18 minutes on the first criteria, Waiting, Hold, Transfer Repitition of it. To me was nearly 10 time moved or Steps. And NO Result..Second was about 14minutes on my a bit rude questioning it ended in less time, So I saved money. For 4 minutes shorter call.I only wanted a rough Estimate for clearing the arteries on Cacification.Simple answer was to be a 4/Lakh 8/Lakh 40 Lakh, or some other figure 2 Crore I can decide to come or Not?Answer was come to hospital talk to Dr he will tell I said Rough an idea those are baby answers.Thank you that was from a Radiology Department.I call it showing ten roads or a wall. Not near buildingThank you Allah Bless you.

Every organization has area of improvement so there is also area of improvement and area of concern here in agha khan.In Radiology department there is lack of resources like lack of machinery most of the time machine not work properly so patients ask for lengthy wait or requested to go back to home kindly consider it and resolve this issue for excellent patients benefits like always you do.Its really sad that the staff responsible for attending the queries on the telephone, doesnt even know about the disease dementia and whether they have a specialist for it or not. Almost after half an hour of conversing to different staff members, finally it was found that the hospital runs a weekly dementia clinic. AKUH needs donation they are charging for car parking and they dont ask while you park your car they ask when you are leaving. Paid parking is written in very small letters and it is not affixed on proper place. I paid for parking and guard which was on duty didnt give me parking slip. I parked my car outside parking area and went to his cabin then he give me ticket. We are not parking car at picnic points or shopping area. Shame on AKUH and its management. Hospitals now a days is money making business not a place where poor people get admission.
