I was just passing by, a huge plot is dug deep down just before this college, with a board claiming neighborhood betterment project. As for the building, originally it was SM Art college since I have seen it, in early 70s it was nationalized and run by Govt, which is still the case. But in late 70s a law college was also incorporated in the same building, later on the Arts College was perhaps abandoned, and only law remained. To its credit it is the only law college in Karachi, except Zabist University, which is quite recent. Though it lies at an inappropriate crossroad, but is the backbone of legal fraternity, please like if you found this write informative. Thanks.

Rehman a leading Advocate  on the June 28, 1947 and was affiliated to the University of Sindh. I After the closure of Shahani Law College, the college shifted to its present building in 1948 and is affiliated with the University of Karachi. Its a beat law educational college in the city.
