Metro used to be a great place to find quality stuff under one roof. Not anymore. Theres always shortage of the very thing that you need. Then there used to be crowd belonging to SEC A and B. Now you find people thronging the place belonging to SEC C D and E. Avoid unless its something urgent that you cant find anywhere else.

I came back after several years and was very pleased to see well mannered, nicely dressed young crowd running and serving in this place.I hope the Karachi Airport Authority take a note and hire our Youth and remove the horrible faces currently placed at Airport Arrivals.Coming back, the staff is very courteous and professional, I read a comment regarding people complaining lack of cleanliness and when I went , I saw cleaning crew busy, sweeping and cleaning the place. So the mgmt took the review feedback and acted on it. Great Job!!Id like to make a further suggestion to Management/owners to please remove the benches from right across the checkout tills, as Ive seen on many occasions (3) some unfriendly faces with bad vibes sitting there and observing people going out. This could be a security threat to shoppers as they could coordinate with individuals outside.Other than that, prices need to be more competitive and sales events should be often.Also, as Metro collects Taxes on goods, as high as 17% on behalf of Government from the people, they should visit the neighborhood from where people come to shop (Shah Faisal, Malir, Model Colony etc) and sit with the stake holders and demand basic civic amenities be fixed.. something as simple as removal of garbage, as the city appears dirtier in last 10 years. We need to work for each other as allies and that would be a true example of Corporate Social Responsibility as 17% Tax on goods is NO SMALL AMOUNT.

Frequent customer, last time my friends picked snacks chips from shelf. Along with other items. Coming home to realized I have been billed 220 rupees for 2 snacks which you can buy any where for 20.cause cashier scanned them as an item of 6, and pack of 2, instead 2 chips.Mind you this is a common practice Ive seen multiple videos of people arguing on over billing.

Metro stores are from good stores of Karachi. This Metro store is located at the busiest road Shahra-e-faisal. Near Stargate. Recently the store management gives a new look to the store. I dont find any new look. Overall this is a very nice facility to cater all your groceries and other so many items under one roof. Electronics. Apparel. Rugs. Tables and chairs. Sofa sets. Wall decorations. Stationary. Electronic safe. Cycles both electric and manual. Washing machine. Refrigerators. Air conditioners. Juicer blender make up and hundered of other items. You can find items of certain brands only and not all the market brands. The staff and the brand managers are helpful. A nice place to go for shopping with family. A nice cafeteria to fulfil your hunger.though a limited menu is available but its good.

Metro Cash and Carry Stargate is the only big store in town. it has its own big building including free parking, food court and a wide range of household stuff. Also its timing is till 11:00am night which gives flexibility to those want to go buy stuff after office hours. They also sell very good quality fresh fish :)

Bit expensive than Imtiaz. The worst thing is there shopping trolleys .. Not easy to walk with.. Things are dusty there. Seems they dont clean them frequently.. Everytime we go on counter the cashier ask us to bring another item because of bad barcode sticker. Overall experience is 2 out of 5.. They need a lot of improvement.

Metro Cash & Carry is a one stop shop, and is now well maintained, electronics, crockery and grocery sections are better maintained with fresh stock, while there are some sections which contains old rotten stocks.
