One of the biggest passport centre in Pakistan, there is parking problem, usually bikes lifted by traffic police, so be careful about parking at ur own risk

Yestrday I visited NADRA Awami Markaz branch, management was ok if not good. Needs to improve the management behaviour and way of talking also, however I must say that comparing their behaviour from previous times, their behaviour improved alot. They are much better than passport office Saddar.

System were not working upon my last visit. There are a lot people or so called agents standing outside to forcefully provide service and take illegal commissions. Beware.

Visited to get new passports made for my children today and couldnt believe when i came out in 30 mins with all process completed. Staff guided properly and paid attention to accurately input data. Not what I experienced for myself few years back when service was pathetic. Well done to the staff and officials.Tips:1. Reach early -office opens 8.30 and early birds benefit2. Go through passport website and ensure you have all required docs with you3. Pay fee a day in advance.4. Ignore agents no matter what they say.5. Youll need to get the filled form attested by 17+ grade official before submission6. So as youll get done early since you reached early morning get the form attested and go back and submit same day.7. Your passport will be available for collection at Saddar office unless you opt for home delivery. I preferred self collection just to avoid any issue with delivery [with millions of items delivered theres always a small number that gets lost- just did not want to be among those unlucky ones :)]

Experience was very good and got the things done without much hassle, specially the thing which I like was after data entry they are giving the receipt after getting it stamped, there is no need to see director in his office which waste 70 to 80 percent of the total time consumed in the whole process,Overall better experience.

Not bad, extreme rush and cramped/ suffocating inside (any incident will be nightmare). Used to be nightmare place when only 2 such office were serving the city.Get ur fee submitted upstairs at the EOBI mall a day earlier and be at the passport office for early bird tweets. Spare 3 hours. Opt for 10 year validity and normal will suffice.

The regional passport office is near to sindh high court sindh.Good looking delicious hotel for residential perpose is located..

Regional Passport Office Awami Markaz caters specifically for people who require a passport made in this region. This Office is comparatively better than the other offices because the govt. employees and officers here are marginally more cooperative than the other offices. However dont take the help of the independent agents that hover around to bypass channels because they charge you extra money for it which is not necessary. You can get by here easily on your own. If you need help, the best place is the photostat shopkeeper.

Pethatic system staff doesnt provide full information they are dissatisfied with their Jobs and dont deal Im good manner with Public.

Usually the rush is normal. I would suggest to visit and confirm whether you are allowed to create the passport from this office or not, this will save your time. I have also posted a pic mentioning the areas covered by this office. If you are eligible to create passport from this office first (1) you need to submit fee in national Bank on second floor within awami markaz. Then (2) you need to come back to passport office and get in queue, (3) pictures will be taken by staff, then (4) biometrics will be done by staff, then (5) data entry by staff, then (6) final submission and verification by assistance director

The staff here is nice, cooperative, and (surprisingly, for a government office in Pakistan) competent. Dont take the help of agents, theyll just charge you extra and you dont need them. The process is easy and quick enough to follow from start to finish.

The best of the government offices that you can ever come across. Great staff. Dont pay any attention to those agents outside. Dont park outside. In the street inside, you will get some space. Best is to be early, consult the website for the prerequisite and have bank pay slip plus copy of CNIC

The place was decent overall, there are few things to note.1. Dont involve any agent as the process is very easy.2. No one will tell you this point: passport collect on will be made from saddar office.3. The token timings are revised as 8:30am to 12:00/12:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30 to 11:30 Friday. As a gesture of good will I dont want my brothers to go there in fasting condition and get there time wasted..

This passport office in Karachi is less crowded than the one in Saddar locality.Parking is available and the whole procedure takes around 2 hours.Staff is cooperative.There is no special que for special citizens.

Visited the Regional Passport Office Awami Markaz on July 2, 2018 for Passport Renewal... Though it was a Bank Holiday but the process was successfully completed with the help of Passport Office Staff who guided to make the payment through a mobile company cash payment services... After making the payment by visiting the mobile company franchise office... The process was completed within few minutes...

Staff here at awami markaz branch is more competent and well trained than other branches. Dont get involved with agents here because passport offices staff is there for your help. Cleanliness, public dealing and services are far much better. Just wait for your turn and get your process done.

Dont take any agent , process is simple and less time taking. With or without agent the time duration is same , since agents are not allowed inside.Reach 8:45 sharp at National Bank awami markaz second floor. No need to take bank challan from agent as it is available inside bank. You just need to write CNIC number and name on challan. Note: Bring 3 to 4 copies of CNIC and old passport (In case of renewal).Make a set of bank challan, CNIC copy , CNIC orignal, old passport (in case of renewal) and go to Badra office ground floor awami markaz. The process is 40 to 45 mins if you reach there in time i.e 9:15 am.Beware of Agents: They are totally useless , the only help they can provide is filling and submission of Bank Challan.

Visited here today at around 9:15,supposed to get there by 8:30 but the delay came in the traffic jam.Anyways it was great experience,I had to renew my passport and had already payed the bank fees in nbp near my home. So that part was covered. In the office from getting my token to getting all the steps done for the passport renewal it took me approx 5-10 min barely. The staff was quite cooperative as compared to the Malir branch where I visited earlier in the week.So the steps that include for the renewal are:Step 1. Pay your fees at nbp branchStep 2. Come to your region office with required documentsStep 3. Get the token (place where they take your photo and give a printout).Step 4. Biometrics scan (both left and right hand thumb and first finger)Step 5. Your number comes and you get a big print out paper reflecting all your details,you just have to sign it in two places.Step 6. FIA guy checks your CNIC and passport number for wrong records as in criminal record maybe.Step 7. The final step,you hand them your documents and they give the copy of bank challan which you already had with you.Step 8. Collect your passport from Sadar branch after around 15 Days (at least that’s what they said)So this is how the procedure is done and I had a wonderful experience,key thing is to be there early at around 8:30 or near that helps a lot since people in Karachi wake up late I guess.

Hi friends. ..I went for renewal of my passport at Awami Markaz.. 1st i reached at nbp to submit fee challan at 8.40am..bank was closed n 6 men n 7 women were already there in 2 queues. Bank opened at 9.05am v all went inside by numbers but only 1 of us had already filled challan so he got 1st nmbr while other started filling included me. After that I reached at passport office where they ve 2 queues for gents n ladies. 1st official called me whos photographer, took my snap n issue me a token. My token nmbr was 64 because people come 1 or 2 day before n submit there fee then they directly go to the passport office n get early nmbrs...well then 2nd official called my name n took my biometrics then unfortunately I waited for about 1 hour because there network stopped working it was around 10 am they kept saying customers that come after 11.30am because of network most of the customers stayed inside. 3rd official called me asked my cell nmbr n took my nic n passport photo copy n stappled it with printout of my passport form which he filled on his pc. Then 4th official checked my form n send me to asstt director cabin where he checked my original nic n passport n stamped on my form n kept it n gave me token receipt n bank challan receipt for my records n told me to collect my passport from sadder office. ..
