Good building architecture.An very important building but full of PAAN KI PEEK. Maximum officers are corrupt.If you are visiting here for any documentation purpose than keep in mind about bundle of KHAWARI and bribe.

Civic centre is place for so many goverment workYou can register/transfer your vehichle also from here.I recently transfer owenrship of my bike so I am sharing the procedure with you people.(Car ownership transfer is also similiar to bike transfer)Documents required :Your whole file of vehicle original documnets + Your original Cnic with its photocopy.The person on whose name you want to transfer should be available & the vehicle you want to tranfer.Procedure :1. First Go at the back side of civic centre loction is from main gate go straight and turn left on the first cut petrol pump is there .When you reach there they are sitting outside on road giving form scanning form and form f for which price is 700 take the form fill it and give to them & then they will cheque your vehicle and sign on it . ALSO take a form from photocopy shop which is on the same road just tell them owner transfership form they will give you .2. Then Go inside from gate no.3 ask anyone where is vehicle registeration office they will tell you . Go there in the room of mcycle tranfership ..they will check it and sign on it .3. Then go to mcycle counter which is infront of the room they will check your documents file and keep it. Give them 1000 rupees for tranfership so they give you receipt for when you have to collect by showing that recipt to the same counter you can collect it . On the given date . Only person whose name written on the recipt can collect it.Bcz the old book method is finished & smart card is introduced its taking more time then usual.The whole procedure of bike tranfer is easy and take upto 1 hour .. total cost 1700There will be people telling you i can do your work easily no need to give them any attention they cost double the price.Timing is 9am to 3pm & 9am to 1pm for vehicle inspection. Saturday sunday offHope it helps someone :)

Civic Center is a huge Government Building within centre of city, specially deals with local /Municipal Government issues like Land and revenue,Master Plan, Roads and Parks, Cleaning, etc etc.Civic Center is located in Karachi-Sindh-Pakistan, specially established fo Karachi Development Authority/Traffic Engineering Bureau. It has more than ten floors with different Government departments at different floors..Motor Vehicle Tax department is also located in this building at fourth floor observing Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedure.It has a huge space for parking with wheel chair accessable facility. This building is surrounded by many other important Government Building s like Sui Southern Gas Company, Sindh Building Control Authority and National Stadium Karachi.Civic Center surrounding is very much secured place too.

A central place with multiple types of services offered by government and public entities

Bribe Market from where you can learn how to give and take bribe in a formal manner. Without giving bribe you cannot process a single document. Shame on this department.

A very large building of local government offices excise and taxation departments

I visited vehicle registeration office. As I entered in the vicinity, at almost every 10 steps I met brokers to offer their Services. They were making me frightened saying that there is extreme rush in the office and they can make my life easy to provide me their Services just for Rs.200 as they have contacts inside the office. However, I ignored them and went directly inside. Inside there were almost 20 windows to serve the people. Office was well organized. It took almost 10 minutes in the queue waiting for my turn. I was dealt with respect. I deposited money and got my cars registration book back with signatures and stamp. I insisted for print out and sticker, which the concerned officer gave me after a little reluctance. I the end I shook hand with guards as a gesture of respect which we normally dont give to such people. So gentlemen dont get frightened , just go in the registration office and do it yourself. Dont engage any brokers. Basically these brokers are medium of bribery which must be discouraged at all costs.

It is a huge boundy wall area, which has a few multistory buildings, most of them are government departments, almost all are local body authorities except a few like Sindh Building Control Authority, which is a Provencal Government Authority.There are a couple of banks, canteens and a huge mosque also located in the area.Departments like Karachi Development Authority (KDA), KARACHI muinciple corporation (KMC), Meyor Office, Excise department, K-Electric and similar operates here.There is also a parking area in front of every department, but it is just for officials and not for public. Public can park in nearby charged parking lots, which are expensive yet full in peak hours, Rs.100 per vehicle.Building have elivators installed.

Lovely Building Nice road view. Junction of of multi purpose offices. I dont see or meet any kind of agent or courropt staff. And paan peek is public work not staff. I shamed upon my nation. Any way I like Civic Center.

Civic Center is a great place to come. You get all type of government offices there. Near it is DC office and SSGC office too. Election commission district office is also there. Hence this place alone can solve all of your problems regarding registration in important matters.But beware of people who are there to help you. They charge too much. When you come here for the first time, accompany with a friend so he can guide you and save your money.

This is the place where government work are been done but for that u have to come again n again and wait for so long many agents are roaming around

Its just a government granted work place for all of those lawyer, broker, liars etc. Beauruecrates are sitting everywhere doing nothing but corruption and politics.

When started it was a great facilitation centre almost all government departments are here for customer care along with banks. But in very pathetic condition now in every espect whether its the building, parking or customer service.

The classic govt department destroyed by corruption, nepotism, thuggery, politicisation and sheer pathetic work culture. If you dont know anyone inside the department (be it excise, taxation or anything else) or dont want to or cant afford giving their kharcha paani, good luck getting work done.
