Detailed Guide for everyone :The process is pretty simple ,follow these steps below :Note : *.Dont go for agents roaming outside Ministry of Foreign Affairs and dont park your car on the road outside the office as it will be lifted.Arrive early at 9:30 AM, counters close by 12:30 PM. Bring your original documents along with additional photocopies and National Identity Card (CNIC) / Passport photocopies.[ Photocopy machine is available inside the office in case ]1. As you enter the gate, the guard checks you and guides you to follow the right path. Follow the right path into the office.2. Once inside the office, take the token from the computer on your left side, enter your CNIC number, then number of documents you would like to attest and wait for the tokens to come out from the machine.* 2 Tokens will come out. One for you and one for the counter. Make sure you collect both from the machine.3. Now go to counter # 1, show the original documents you would like to attest and collect stamps.Price of stamps :Rs.25 for educational documentsRs.10 for Nadra and other documents4. Paste the stamp behind your original documents. Stamp already has glue behind , so just use your spit or saliva to paste on the back.5. Wait for your number to be called out and head to counter # 2 or # 3. Submit your original document with the stamp behind it along with additional photocopy of each document and 2 Tokens.6. You will receive your token back with signature. Wait for a few hours. Staff will advice you to come at 3 PM to collect your document from Counter #4. Nice and cooperative staff. Everything is easy to do but instructions are not written for guidance. You have to ask people for guidance.First when you enter the guard will check you. Once you enter in the office first on your left there is a computer. Enter ur NiC# and then select types and quantities of documents you have to attest. It will print two tokens one for office and one for you. Then move to counter number 1 show them your docs to be attested, he will give stamps at cost to be pasted on the docs. Make sure to bring a set of photocopy of your original documents or you can photocopy their. Wait for call of your token number and submit for attestation. They will inform you to come on same day for collection of docs. Dont get in trap of agents outside the building, clarify things from the staff inside.

Excellent department

On 15th of October I visited mofa to attest my grand son birth certificate required for UAE residence visa purposes. As I reached to gate many agent approached me and asked me if any thing to be done and they will do it behalf of me with fee of 1700 PKR whiteout any hassle and explaining me there is a long que and person on the conter will ask lot of documents and they might refused, they will do it with out any hassle because they have contact with inside staff. But.I decide to go my self taken a token and wait for my turn. Upone my call I approached to counter one person on the counter took my paper after checking the docs he put the 10Rs stamp aske to photo copy and comes back again I approached to couter he asked me to wait my number will be called again after waiting for one and half hour I approached again he told me my turn has gone I explaind to him I came to him befor and he put the stamp him self but he was not ready to understand. Again after half an hour I approched to different counter a lady help me out she accepted my paper and asked me to come back at 4oclock for collection. My point is why the counter one guy didnt accept my docs at first place while he has already fixed the stamp. Why he lie to me that my token number will be called again there is no calling same number again. It was a bad experience.

Very smooth and hassle free process.Just need go on time to get stamp pasted and submitted your documents which needs to be attested with copy of required documents and copy of computerized national identity card (CNIC). After that you will be given slip, which will tell you when to receive your attested documents. Receiving of documents is possible from counter number 4.Only issue is Parking here, you wont find parking space outside during peak hours.

Got Driving Licence NOC attested within an hour and by only paying Rs.10 stamp fee.Other side of the story: While going inside, an agent asked about work and said that hell get it done the same day and if I try to do it myself itll take more than a day and he asked for Rs.2500 fees, lol.

For urgent work departments people ask for money around 2500.And Chief Controler mentioned to stay away from the agents. But here is one question, why are too many agents are so active there outside. Offcourse your department allows them and some people of your department shake hands with these agent.

I went at this office for Nadra certificates verification on friday, Process was smooth and corruption free. No big lines, seperate counters for submitting and recieving documents. Recieve attested documents within 30 minutes.

I found 1rst Gov. Office where you can be satisfy, no agent mafia, u r paying exact fee. The employees are very friendly. I was very surprise when I went there to get attested Nikah nama. Keep it up & Cong. To the officer incharge.

I visited this office today .Very bureacratic and arrogant staff .One thing to praise that they have eliminated the agent culture.But there are loop holes in the organization.Person giving tickets is charging excess amount when you buy stamp tickets .you may get fives rupees ticket for Rs 10 and the person is trying to be smart saying sorry when you make notice of it.I was there at 930 first to give my documents and was asked to come at 3 pm where as the process for stamping is not very lenghty. Waste of time for people who are coming for far areas.Its mention on the website that they dont get the passport attested but they are attesting it with a very again a very lenghty procedure .first you have to go to the passport office (only to the saadar passport office)then only one person there knows about the procedure of attestation. There in Passport office there is another Incharge of Passport and Immigration who get this passport copy sign at 3 o clock (1 minute job and you have to wait for 2 3 hours)And 3 o clock this Incharge will sign it then again you have to come at the ministry office.Last time of attestion is 3 o clock , i went to the Head of the department office and he turn me down at 3.14pm saying i cant do it becz time is over where beside my eyes there was 2 documents that were attested.Have to go again for getting this attested.I hope this writeup will help both the visitors and the officers to improve the services and mood of the officers.

Went to get my nikka/marriage certificate stamped for attestation UAE. One of the best managed gov office I have seen. Although there was no light but guess thats not their fault.so all you need is original and copy of niccop or Nic card of both husband and wife as well as original nikka/marriage certificate.When you enter ask the photocopier on the left for guidance. He was very helpful. You need to go to the first window on the left they will check your documents and give you a stamp and charge 25 Rs. Then take that to the photocopier and get it copied. Move to the middle window and submit your documents. Then from 3-4 pm same day you can collect the documents. Submission window is 9 to 1 i think.I went around 12 and took me 15-20 min max

Yesterday I went to verify the Nikahnama of my parents. About 9:30am i reached there. Went to 1st window which is only to stick tickets behind doc. Make sure u hv change. Then he sticked 5Rs ticket n send me inside. Time mentioned is 9 ton1:30 whether the official came at about quarter to 10. He asked me for original nic of parents n mine as well. Then gave back n asked for photpcopies of nic n nikahnama. At the end gave me a receipt...Try to take a snap when u r leaving your originals...Finally between 2:30 to 3:30 they called me n delivered the original nikahnama with stamp n sign.Make sure u hv photocopies of all docs.

People who wants attestation from ministry of foreign affairs bring CNIC copy and photo copies of documents they wish to get attested along with original documents. There will be few ppl outside the mofa who will offer their services. Dont take their services or give them any money.they will fool you by asking money for advocate stamp and golden sticker. There is no need for that for attestation. simply go inside. If you have any query ask from inside the office. Get 5 or 25 rupees green/red sticker depending upon which document u want to get attested. Thats all.

They open at 10 or later instead of 8 as said on their website. Documents now have to be given to a certain TCS office instead of the office as well. Huge waste of time.

Waste of time and sometimes they even dont entertain.. Now i heard tcs is responsible for documents collection which is a good step forward
