A wonderful place with wonderful staff, excellent food, great service, customer-centric, value for money, and a great venue to relax with friends and family. They serve excellent coffee and the food is also amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

This franchise on Tipu Sultan road is clean and well-positioned on the roadside opposite Xanders. Staff is friendly and good natured. Food is delicious and drinks are tasty. I was satisfied with my visit and am looking forward to the next one. SOPs are being followed. Seating is outside.

Coffee was great. Made from coffee beans and not some instant coffee powder as you can feel it in cafes around here. Affogato was just ok. Mocha frappe had been a better option. The chocolate mousse cake was also ok.

During pandemic when everyone is concerned about hygiene these people are doing extremely well .The staff wearing gloves, face sheild and no hard menu , you need to scan the bar code using your own cell phone and get the menu.You can only sit there for maximum 90 minutes. And yes temperature check was there too .They served us delicious pizza and the perfect cold coffee to beat the heat .Happy customer I can go there more often now .Follow on insta @nido.salim

Going to this particular Espresso is always a pleasure. Their staff is super friendly and all my visits to Espresso have been nothing short of a joyful experience. This particular visit, I tried their Mexican Fries and Open-faced Turkey Sandwich. Both menu items were PERFECTION. Truly satisfied with each experience.

-1 star only because of the decor. Food was great. But the paisley shaped hanging thing from the ceilings in warm colors alongwith the lampshades made it seem a little stuffy. And overbearing. Couldnt take a picture of it.

Espresso is a place of peace. If you want a calm and quite place to relax then this place is for you. The menu is full of what you want. The coffee is the best part ofcourse. Food is very delicious and the staff is very very friendly.

Here’s the thing, I love eating fries. I’d eat them with just about anything, be it pizza or chicken or any other food you’re not supposed to eat fries with-I eat fries with such food stuff. Espresso provides you with a minuscule amount of fries- I don’t understand why? Do they have a potato shortage ? Is it against the laws of the potato realm? YOU ( espresso) NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! You can’t keep robbing us of from fries. Nonetheless, you should try out the buttermilk fried chicken burger if you don’t want to be adventurous and try something different. It’s only served just as a burger-the fries might as well not be there.. Though, if you do decide to become a risk taker- try the nacho Mexican chicken. It’s stuffed with rice and ethereal nacho mixture-served with boiled potatoes and three different kinds of dips. The strawberry cheesecake drink is very thick but the aftermath of its (literally) mouth watering taste is worth it. Worth ordering it, that is. They take a lot of time, but the food isn’t all that bad.

Yes I visited Espresso yesterday along with my family. It was not at all a good experience due to the reasons #1 The ambiance was poor, air conditioner were not functioning properly it was humid inside.#2. The dining area was overly populated there were no COVID 19 protocol followed (social distancing).#3. The breakfast quality was also not of class it has to be. The cheese and mushroom omelet was pathetic.#4. The service standard was also not as it has to be in return of the money spent , the coffee was served after a gap of at least after 15 minutes after we reminded the same.With all above stated reasons it was overall a very bad experiences.So think twice before you make a plan to visit them.

4 stars because I didnt find their desserts delicious enough. They were just Okay for my taste buds. (i.e. chocolate mousse cup, nutella cup cake and red velvet cup cake)For the mains, I ordered chicken mushroom steak that was yummiest though the mashed potatoes were a little too sour.Their espresso club sandwich is something really delicious.Lasagna was fresh, hot and yummmmmiesttt.There were free candies too.It was a clean and hygienic place but as it was Saturday so it was crowded. We had to wait 10 minutes for the table. It was a refreshingly good experience overall.Recommended

It was a friends get together and we choose the Tipu Sultan outlet. It was 4pm and the restaurant was full. Loved the food. The issue was the wash room which was in a strange place... Had to go through a weird corridor. Very unlike.

It has nice ambiance and very friendly staff. Food is normal though :-(Omlette is nice BUT beef strips r dry n chewy, pancake is thin n flat and tough. It is an embarrassment for any decent chef. Girls at home make better pancakes than this professional chef. Ordered black coffee which was nice.

Definitely expensive, but worth it. The club sandwich is the best in Karachi; no question about it. Ive gone to Espressos for Breakfast and Lunch several times and Ive always been satisfied with the quality of food, the wide variety of choices, and the atmosphere. If you can afford it, this is the place to eat.

Good restaurant for coffee and a lil chit chat nothing fancy. Food and main course are below average, Sandwiches are good. Good ambience but a bit over crowded expect to wait for your turn so book in advance to avoid hassle.. Location and parking is good. But the road leading to shaheed millat is usually unlit so take alternate route during off hours.

We he breakfast their order Mexican pizza, cafe mocha (regular), pina class, nutella peanut butter wrap and small water.A part from nutella peanut butter everything was good as expected, actually wrap based taste uncooked Its feel not good when you chewing may be our taste no developed anyway I dont like that wrap rest everything was great.All above coat us Rs.2237 which sound bit higher but you can go once in a month or after two.

I use to be a regular customer of espresso. But last month when I went there, they have served fish! The fish was very delicious and we thought they maintain good quality standards!To our surprise we found a cyst at the middle of the fish ( can be easily seen in the picture)When we complaint to the restaurant manager and told him that call the food inspector of 6he area...as how can they serve such food which is not healthy at all...They called their regional manager and restuarant manager...we told them how can you guys serve such food, can you guys it...what you are serving the customer.The restaurant manager picked up the piece of fish and chew it ...which was horrible...he immediately rush to their kitchen to vomit it...And thats was it...they have removed the evidence so no action can be taken against them...We were shocked and left the outlet for ever!!

Went twice and ordered while sitting in the car. SOPs are being followed with proper sealed bags and containers, they are doing flexi sandwiches which were not there before e.g. Mediterranean egg sandwich, which is quite comfortable to eat while sitting with family in the car.

Best place to have coffee in karachi

Had a quick bite while my friends were chilling there. Espresso has always been a great place for comfort food, and thats exactly what I had. A warm warm apple crumble with cold vanilla ice cream. Loved it! But it was more of an apple pie than crumble.

Small cosy place but its Espresso, so bit pricey obviously.

Ambience is good. But refrain from going during lunch hours and Weekends because you wont enjoy the voices inside the sitting area. Pro tip : if you are a private person, sit at place reserved for this specific purpose. A bit dark but goes with the mood.

First,they served us coffee which was not hot. On our complain,they served complimentary hot coffee. They were serving complimentary cookies with each coffee.coffee was great

Prices are bit on higher side. Valet parking is also available.

Weve been going to espresso for ages. After returning to Karachi for a quick visit, it was the first old haunt we went to and Im so glad we did. The menu has been upgraded and we tried the Turkey club sandwich which was delicious. The flat white and cookies were fantastic. Really pleased to see the food and beverages were spot on. Augustine Fernandez is simply wonderful as is the rest of his team. Definitely recommend

Good place but very expensive due to small servings and one cannot even make his or her tummy full by taking one main course....they should make their servings according to their prices....even the coffee cup is small in size... I have shared a sandwich picture, I ordered it cost around 750 in most places club sandwich is good enough to make you full but this isnt... So sad I was waiting for me to go espresso but my first visit was disappointing...they didnt even serve us anything complementary my bill was more than 5000 in total....

Their old queens road branch is better. First of all they have a massive step just as you enter the door, which is a big tripping hazard. They have posted a sign on the door asking people to watch their step but the sign is as good as nothing because the step is a bit farther into the cafe. Secondly, the food was second grade as compared to the other outlets

So far best place to relax and have yummm coffee... they have wide range of menu and the quality of food and service is great... chocolate heaven is yummm. The best part is you can get a free cookie on Facebook check in.

The staff had a very carefree attitude. I had to remind the server to bring my coffee which he didnt even remember to serve.

The pizza (dont remember what we ordered) and coffee (cappuccino with caramel) was really good. However, the poor service was a complete letdown. Waiters would huddle up together far from our table and we had difficulty communicating anything to them. For a mid-to-high tier place like this, the wait staff should be much more enthusiastic and efficient.

Great place for a quick bite or for a good time with friends and family

Espresso for this side of Clifton Bridge, but with the same great coffee, courteous service and familiar food. The location, near a host of other eateries, just off one of the main arteries of the city, is very convenient, and makes it a great place for reunions and meet ups with friends from various localities in the city. I find the food quality a teeny notch below their Dolmen mall outlet. The place could do with some upgrading of their interior /furniture which has begun to look quite worn, possibly because of the high footfall.

1- Serving is very small.2- Nachos were not available.3- Loud music was bursting directly into the ears.4- Price is high and does not do justice to the quantity of food.5- Relatively long serving time.6- Congested seating arrangements.7- Severs are quite diligent in removing your dishes (indirectly asking you to leave).CONCLUSION:- Will not recommend to anyone, its a loss from all sides: food, cash and Spirituality.

An amazing place for fine dinning and place to spend quality evening. You will get such a peace of mind, sense of hygiene, cleanliness and top of all the staff are well aware about their job. Everything placed in an order, quality of food is top notch hands down no compromise no doubt about it.

No doubt it is situated at very good and very easily accessible place. But experience was poor. Me and friend gave an order for ice cream, he ordered one with waffle. We were told we would be served in 20 mins. After 30 mins I check with the staff, only to be informed that we would be served in next 3-4 mins. After further 10 mins we were not served and we eventually left.Clearly they forgot about it. It would have been better had they told us the truth, we have cancelled it and be one our way earlier.

Awesome coffee shop

I always had a gud bite as Espresso. This time it surprisingly turned odd. We ordered chicken stripes in starters, fish and chips and pasta alferedo with chicken.The starters were 7 out of 10. The pasta had a stronger taste of herbs. The fish and chips felt as if they were left outs of someone else. I was furious at first. I mean this is what we get for 925. I mean this is a huge amount for 2 thin slices. On my complain, the manager altered the slices and doubled coated and re fried them and served them with more vegetables. Which is not justified. If you are stating it to be a main course then it should be filling enough. I am attaching the before and after pictures.The management of the espresso should re consider the size of meal they are offering.Its disappointing and from now its a NO NO place for me.

Receptive and welcoming staff, excellent coffee and delicious food. Cant beat Espresso. This is a very convenient location on Tipu Sultan road.

Cosy place to sit and have a cup of coffee. Food taste is average, couch needs replacement. Furniture is a bit aged.

Tried the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Beef Classic Burger! Both were great and fresh!

Its a good place to have coffee and meeting, people dont disturb you like in other places, you can sit down with a coffee for hours. The internet is very fast around 20Mbs. Second visit: I ordered hot chocolate with French fries but they were over priced and not upto the mark. Hjot chocolate was 350 rupees and fries were 275, i can make better hot chocolate at home in quarter of the price around 100 rupees maybe less. All the money is for the environment. Butlers chocolate items are similar sometimes more but they have way more value and cant be made at home, their taste is awesome.

Well one of the best coffee in town after NY and Gloria jeans. Must try their Expresso.

N SMOKING NOT ALLOWED, is really a down side of this branch (for smokers obviously ) As Shehbaaz branch do allow smokingN the food I had was deserts:1) Japanese pan cake.... It was good n i tasted for the first time n will have it again (typically for those who understand the taste of Granola - as topping was full of it n fruity jam)2) Normal pancakes..... It was complete disappointment.... They might know how to make pancakes (as it is no rocket science) but they really need to learn how to serve it or to make it presentable......Because serving it in plate with few fruits n maple syrup isnt enough.......
