It is a small restaurant, situated in Bukhari Commercial. It serves Samosa, tea and various food in a nice atmosphere. One can enjoy outdoor seating. Also ample parking space. Rates are quite low.

Covid has wiped out most of the eateries on chota Bukhari. Chaiwala is still hanging by a thread. A shami anda bun kabab is now going for a whopping Rs.330 which is insane considering that you get a decent one for Rs.80.My advice: stick to the dhood patti chai, which is quite good although still pricey.

Pathetic food Quality/Quantity.Immensely OverchargedTea Was also tasteless .Would not recommend if you arent having Bad Day Already.The only good thing is Presentation.as seen below

A good place for refreshment like we can take tea and much more there in a good service with the good and educated staff of waiters.

Awesome place to dine in with family and friends, we ate gol gappy, methee pori, aalo paratha, qeema paratha, anda paratha, and mexican fries with tea, each and everything was delicious, tempting and unlike other chai khana places each n everything tastes differentA must go n try place... Use to be a great sitting atmosphere. Due to Covid SOPs restrictions, the timings are 12 am weekday and 1:30 am only Saturday. I think.

Chai wala has an awesome atmosphere but above all, its chai is authentic. Other types of these modern dhabas have absolutely the worst chai ever but chai walas chai is great.Also, their BBQ chicken paratha is great.The prices are a bit high though with a chai costing 130 rs and the bbq chicken paratha costing around 400 rs.

A great place to spend quality time with your friends over chai and snacks at night in open air. You might have to wait for a while on weekends for a table.

Overly crowded, the place stank of garbage, since the open dumpster was right across. On top we ordered Take Away 3 Pizza Parathas, the waiter didnt even bother checking or on purpose replaced one with Aloo Paratha. Bunch of rip off! I ordered 3 nutella parathas from Chai Shai. Should have ordered Pizza Paratha from them as well. I have learnt my lesson. Will never order from Chai Wala ever. So what if your pizza paratha taste better. If Im getting Aloo paratha instead. I just wish I was present when my family received the order. I would have slapped the paratha back at your face.

Chai Wala is one of the most popular and successful in tea place in DHA.They have such a wonderful taste of tea which is not possible to have in DHA.Quality of their each product is very nice and delicious.It was the wonderful experience to have tea from Chai Wala DHA.In other words I can say that the tea I had from Chai Wala I hadnt have before.. Now I can say without any doubt..I m Lovin It......

Nice place for chai and fast food and chill with friends especially on weekends. Visit every time when i came to karachi. This november came to karachi and chai shai with Dr Noora Khan, Dr Aurangzeb Khan, Dr Yasir Ashraf, Dr Idress Kibzai And Dr Nasrullah Khan especialty is Dood Pathi and kasmiri chai. Some times we come here and play LODO as well.

I visited when it was just newly opened and yes it was literally a good experience. They have perfect paratha varieties in their menu and was perfectly good in taste.

If you are craving for tea and parathas, it should be in the list of available spots in DHA

This place is unique and splendid! I love the ambiance of sitting outside and enjoying the weather, the hospitable service and the delicious variety of food and drinks. I enjoy coming here with my friends and family since there is always a pleasurable vibe! However, there can often be beggars on the street that ruin your whole experience but coming up to you whilst you are there

Their chai and coffee are bit expensive considering the fact its just a dhabba. But its easy to note they would be paying heavier over heads then other dhabbas in karachi.Chai is ok. Kashmiri chai not so good. Never tried coffee there. On the weekdays The waiter will hunt you for your order as there arent much people and you will get your order fast weekends are not so good as you have to hunt for waiter and give your order. And the most awesome thing is that mostly you have to wait quite a lot for the waiter to present you bill. Few times i left without paying not because i wanted to. But i was quite annoyed waiting up. And so i save money on chai :PThe same review goes for chai shai and other dhabbas in the street :D

I had actually written a review earlier but apparently I used the wrong account. Anyways, the place is worth all the hype. The food is good, the general aura of the place is alive and vibrant. The prices are fair. It is only the lack of security that causes me a bit of an issue. Quite a lot of drunkards end up in such places and occasionally tend to do more harm than good. The staff can do nothing but watch as things tend to go nasty. Fix this and I will revisit my review to make it a 5 star one.

Went there with a friend, nice location. Its an open Air dhaba kind of Café. Nice variety of tea, juices and Parthas. You can sit on the chairs or order from your Car as per your convenience. They also have chaat and Pani Puri stuff, if you like it!Its a popular location and liked by all that visit it. I think its the place to go if youre looking for a quick tea break in an open Air, refreshing environment but remember its in the defence area near the sea so if theres a seaweeds issue on the coast better avoid it due to the stinky smells messing up the ambiance!Overall I love it and I am sure most people would too!

Chai n gup shup

Teenagers are annoying af. Its always crowded. In rainy days it smelled like an actual sewage zone. Fries are bomb. Dont like anything else.

A very good place to hang out with friends. Different kind of Tea and coffee are available. Other fast food and desi food items are also available. A bit expensive to very expensive side depending upon the point of view of the costumer. Seating arrangement is outdoor but there never seems to be any dust issue

Best place to sit and talk for hours...visited several times and sat there for 3 to 4 hours.. really enjoyed every time...

Good place to sit in the evening and have gossip with friends over a cup of tea. The management needs to pay attention towards utensils being used for cooking as well as serving, seating arrangements, cleaning arrangements and service.Overall a satisfactory e experience. By putting in a little extra efforts, the standard can be made much better.

A good family place, but sometimes one or two chachoras joined and ruined fun for everyone. DHA Need to do something about security.
