One of the very few places you can get a masala dosa in karachi. It is ok. Sadly they dont have iddly. But they do have a wide range of dishes. Pricing is moderate. Service is good.

For me, it was an experience.I wanted to try South Indian style food.The ambience was generic nothing new and posh but acceptable if you are more into food than the location this is going to be a no big deal.Originally born and bred in Lahore so oily and heavy food is no big deal. But South Indian food was super light and I didnt even knew I was full even up to my neck.So I ordered a masala dosa and a mix thali.I was served dosa first. The filing was potatoes and some other veggies and the spices were in an awesome balance. Too much gram masala mostly give me heartburn and this was not going to be, in this case of dosa.I enjoyed the light crispy outside and mushy veggie filling, there was a curry and a chutney with it. Curry was just okay but the chutney. I never would have thought about coconut chutney until this day it was delightful I loved every last drop of it.After dosa, they brought in the big thali. I dont know where to start this was exactly on my mind. So I tasted every single thing and each and everything was different in taste. My tongue was having a festival, at one moment I was happy and the next it was nostalgic sort of sad mixing up all the good childhood memories and how I remember different house hold handies which I had at different times in my life.For me, it was an experience of different emotions. The food was good thou.My second experience is not going to be based on emotions so I would rate the chicken dishes were the best than the dals and lastly the veggies. Lassi was pleasant and necessary to cut down all the gram Masala and spices. Rice and chapatis were there to fill the gut.Will visit it again before leaving Karachi.You should try it for once in your life just to experience the rich culture from south India.

Thali land has a cozy sitting arrangement ,not very spacious.I would recommend there mixed Thali and there dosa which was served piping hot. there khousway was not up to the mark

Its an outstanding restaurant with great prices and value for money.My daughter loved it there Food is good with a variety of food to choose. South Indian, Chinese, desi and Fast food.Just a small suggestion to make it even more interesting. Make it cleaner and keep somebody to clean tables and washroom after use.Overall I loved it and I would love to recommend it to everyone.

A must visit place in Karachi.Ordered A Mixed Thali from their menu that costs Rs.450.it was enough for two moderate eaters.. One Masala dosa for Rs. 140.The taste were superb and the quantity was enough..Service was too quick Food was fresh,Sitting area is neat and tidy.Over all great experience as they are providing great food in affordable price.In addition, they have a wide variety of food in their menu.

Yummy and spicy food on reasonable price with clean airconditioned family environment. The thali in picture costs around 870PKR and enough for 3 persons. The place is also famous for gujrati or south indian food. Give it a try.

Its a good place where there is variety of food , especially indian cuisine such as Dosa, Paw bhaji, Thali etc. Also had Khausai which was good in taste. Seating was nice n clean and service was good.

Have tried chicken chees roll and zinger burger from Thaliland which was a pretty bad experience as the chicken cheese roll came up having a cheese slice inside rather then having a melted orange coloured mozzarella cheese in it....It wasnt a good idea at all to try the fast food from this place as the place is famous for its thali!Next time I will try thali from here ان شاء الله

D Thali Land is a place for indian Bombay type cuisine. Though the place is not so big but its of good size. With nice seating arrangements. The ambiance is good. Neat and clean place. The food was of good taste. Puri and puri paratha were good. There were so many items in the menu. I went for BBQ THALI AND MIX VEGETABLES THALI and LOADED FRIES. The saltish Chach was also good. The attendant was very helpful.

Amazing place with strange name. Thali their speciality contains small bowls of food in a plater with main course in metal bowls and side dishes or treat in plastic bowls. Each bowl can be refilled for only sixty rupees. Lassy with Thali is salty and sour, not sweet. Other conventional options are also available.Customer service is great. Home delivery is available through food panda.

We ordered masala dossa and masala cheese dossa, both were amazing. Cheese dossa is for people who want to amp up the taste and the whole dossa experience, especially people who love cheese. Also ordered small matka sweet dish/kulfi called mawa, that was yummy too. The whole bill was around Rs. 750, which was quite cheap considering three dossa, two Masala, one cheese, 2 drinks & one matka kulfi.

What an amazing range of thaalis and dishes they have! Starting from pav bhaaji to khausa, dosa and mix veg thaali, everything was on point and full of authentic flavors. Loved the presentation and the way everything was served with detailing Their Thai soup is one of the highlights (forgot taking the pic) though I am not a huge fan of thai food, but loved its taste!10/10 for taste and presentation

Tried out this Indian style thaali from D Thaliland in just Rs 450 with lassi, 2 chapati and papad. What else to ask for? Thaali consist of Daal, Mix Sabzi, Lokki, Butter Chicken, Green Chicken, Rice, Salad, Achar and Dokla It is all made by an aunty at home and sent to restaurant. Owner personally came and asked us if we liked it or not. The first and last time for me. I regret to go there. Baby cockroach was roaming freely on my table then on the wall... my table was close to the kitchen and seeing the kitchen when it got opened my one waiter, i felt like puking the fold which i ate. Thali experience in this place was a big mistake.

Very rude staff. Went there with my family and sat in a booth. The staff kept asking us... rather forcing us to move to another small and very inconvenient table. So we just had to stand up and walked out of the place without even eating. Very bad experience

Just visited and had worst experience ever although decided to visit after reading many (paid) reviews, Steak, was like the sliced chicken tikka which surved with salty mashed potatoes and more than the above, we found life cockroaches in Woden dish of steak. Yakhhh. Other dishes are also not up to the mark and will not visit again.Luk-ad-dis Bill given by them as their billing machine was not working.Rated 2/10.
