PTV center Karachi is located at Stadium Road Karachi infront of Liaquat National Hospital along with Liaquat Memorial Library.

One of the most amazing facilities in Pakistan, Avengers can be shot over here the studio technology and facilities are such but sadly they are not utilized to its potential. Maybe because of lack of creativity in the people working over there. Lights can be controlled from the ground, the grid is totally automatic.

Great experience while doing sports shows and world cup transmission from there. Great environment. Worked with Shahida and ayub sahab. Great human beings

News room produced the Khaber Nama at 9:00pm for over four decades.Its discussion on current affairs is very much popular among the viewers as well as in the business circles.This centre produced dramas which were known now as classics.The list of the celebrities from this centre is very long.

Old is truly gold. A place where a lot of film and TV legends of Pakistan got trained in the old days. Not too much like the old place though, but surely the biggest and most extensive television production facilities I have seen in the country.

Massive infrastructure, but not being utilized efficently.

Was there for a sales activity, spend two days there, all the people ple were so nice to us, specialy the chief security officer ️ admin staff was so cooperative visited the studios, canteen was good but the kitchen was not up to the mark, kitchen need some care, but overall good experience

Regional office of PTV in Karachi. Huge building. Entry for authorized persons only. Guests and visitors need to prove their identity first must be carrying CNIC or other legitimate identity document. A historic place worth visiting for tourists.

I have been at the library beside Ptv Karachi center. It has got the many services available . There is a separate room for newsletter​ reading. It has also got a grand hall for reading different books. Library is also equipped with photo copy service. Apart from this digital library is also available, Which is centrally air-conditioned.

Outstanding ptv station

Like other government and semi-government departments of Pakistan, premises of PTV wasnt clean. Although I found the staff helpful but the maintenance of the building, its staircase, corridors and rooms require an overhaul.

Huge building with lots of technical instruments but very few employees were there to handle the whole channel. Bribe is in every department talented people cant enter in the building only if they are ready to share their income with the existing old employees

Pakistan entered the television broadcasting age in 1964, with a pilot television station established at Lahore. This is the venue from which Pakistan’s first television broadcast was aired in black & white on the historic date: 26th November, 1964.The Rawalpindi Center was added in 1967 and Peshawar & Quetta Centers added in 1974.The National Broadcaster has flourished since then, and today has PTV-Centers in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzafarabad, AJK and Multan whereas the PTV Headquarters is also located in Islamabad, the Federal Capital.
