One of the biggest cricket stadium in Pakistan with an approximate seating capacity of 34,000 people. Most of the seats have restricted views. It is recommended to reach at least 2 hour early to find a suitable seat in an enclosure. Free seating within any enclosure. Best seats are in the middle of an enclosure, high enough so you view is not blocked, low enough so its not far from the pitch. During summers it can get very warm, light clothing is recommended. Only in December and January you can wear winter clothes. Day and night matches are recommended as compared to day matches due to warm weather.

Located at worst place. Not porperly maintained and secondly whenever matches occur whose city face major traffic issues. Roads should be open for public. Due to matches they block nipa, karsaz from hasan square, stadium back side and karsaz from dalmia. Last but not the least they block karsaz from shahrah e faisal. Due to it peoples were stucked in traffic for hours. That is why people started hating matches in karachi

What a wonderful day at the stadium. We went to see a PSL eliminator game between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.Such a great atmosphere there. The venue is great, the pitch is beautiful and the organisers have done a wonderful job of making the venue safe and sound.I congratulate the Pakistan cricket board, government and the ground staff in making all the games possible in Pakistan. And many many thanks to all the foreign players to trust Pakistan authorities and for playing for their respective teams.

Splendid, amazing, fantabulous, cricket is coming back in Karachi and Pakistan and inshaAllah it will be great. love you cricket, Karachi has always been the home to cricket but unfortunately due to bad political and law and order situation cricket was halted here and everywhere in Pakistan. As far as the stadium goes, its still the best in Pakistan, location wise its great and easy to reach.

Very Very Beautiful world class stadium of Pakistan with all basic facilities and with fool proof security arrangements its really an amazing place I suggest everyone to visit here and enjoy the live match and the noise or roaring of public and really a brilliant experience. The National Stadium (Urdu: نیشنل اسٹڈیم‎; Sindhi: قومي اسٽيڊيم) cricket stadium in Karachi, Pakistan, owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board. It is the home ground of Karachi Kings, and is home to many other Karachis domestic cricket teams. The National Stadium became Karachis fifth and Pakistans 11th first-class ground. The inaugural first-class match was played at NSK between Pakistan and India on 21–24 April 1955, and it became a fortress of Pakistan cricket. In 34 Tests between that first match and December 2000, Pakistan won 17 and were never beaten. Their only Test defeat on the ground came in the gloom against England in 2000–01.The first ODI at the National Stadium was against West Indies on 21 November 1980, and it went down to the last ball as Gordon Greenidge drove Imran Khan imperiously to the cover boundary with three needed. It has been a far less successful limited-overs venue, with defeats outnumbering victories. In fact, in a little under five years from the start of 1996, Pakistan failed to win on the ground. It also staged a quarter-final match in the 1996–97 World Cup.Sachin Tendulkar and Waqar Younis played their first test match in this stadium. In September 2019, the Pakistan Cricket Board named it as one of the venues to host matches in the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Its an ok stadium, seats are super uncomfortable, entrance to the seats is only from one side, so if you are sitting close the the railing and want to get out, you will bother the entire row of people and only then can get out. Bathrooms had no soaps or toiler paper available. The VIP area doesn’t have a nice view since the roof blocks half the view. Went here during PSL matches. PCB didn’t manage that very well either and it was totally over sold last year. Giving three stars because its still better than other stadiums in Pakistan

The parking, shuttles a d security etc for the PSL was very smooth and efficient - hope to see the same level of professionalism in future local matches.Theyve also added bathrooms in every enclosure which were reasonably clean but a couple were missing soap and all of them need trash cans.Need more trash cans inside the enclosures + some way to discourage vendors from giving out single use plastic (too many people bringing in chips in a plastic bag)!

The stadium is just awesome when you enter in stadium you will feel like something 3d is infront of you whole grassy stadium with white roof its absolutely wow moment.I watched PSL match quetta vs zalmi the match was great to see live the cricketers were looking so tall infront of us specially windies players sammy polard etc one thing I will suggest you about watching live match in stadium is that dont focus on TV which are in ground just focus on match which is going on infront of you focus on pitch and look whats going on use screen just for reviews etc and dont try to come on tv just enjoy your self you will automatically covered in live tv if camera man wants to cover you if you are going on ticket of 3000 rupees then you will definitely will be covered on tv but if you are going on ticket of 500 rupees or 1000 rupees then there less chances of yours to appear on tv.Lets talk about some foodThere are lot of stalls from where you can buy food items after half match you can go or any time you want there is no restriction you can go and buy food item of your choice my favorite is biryani and it will cost 150 and 50 cold drink there is also chiken roll samosa pakora Lays kurlees sting 7up pepsi dew water bottle and much more one person can eat in just 2 to 3 hundred rupees and if you want more to eat then take 500 or as much as you want depends upto you every food item is 20 to 30 rupees expensive as compare to local market for example lays of 30 rupees will cost you of 50 rupees. When you go to stadium first you will be checked in your vehicle ticket will be seen on stadium road then you will be guided towards the parking area there you will park your car and if you are in careem or ubar they will drop you there and then will go and then there is waiting area in which you have to wait untill stadium buses which organised for you and are free of cost will come and you will be seated in them after checking nic and ticket and whole body take your original nic with you after that you will reach at stadium then you have to find gate no written on your ticket and enter in that then you will be checked there and then will go to further same gate no inside stadium then submit your ticket checking will be done and then you will go inside stadium and then Wow moment and photography will be started by everyon

This is the largest stadium i have ever been to, for cricket. And its good. The enclosures are all planned in a way that i can see the game happening in the middle. However, it can be further improved, alot. The seats for start can be improved. The barbed wires bifurcating enclosures actually blocks the field view, which without them will be majestic. The eatery stalls outside are nice and have good food, a bit expensive from normal but easily manageable. Security is up to noth and police deployed there is helpful.

One of the oldest of Pakistan’s existing Test venues, the Gaddafi Stadium at Lahore has for long served as a fortress for Pakistan; safeguarding Pakistan’s home records in Test cricket. On the map of international cricket since 1955, the National Stadium in Karachi, has been a venue visiting teams have generally preferred to skip, thanks to disturbances around the city due to terrorism and bombings making headlines. Host to the 1996 World Cup Quarter Final match between West Indies and South Africa, One Day Internationals played at the National Stadium have generally been well attended. Test matches though, like it has generally been with the sub-continent, have had sparse crowds. It was also at the National Stadium that India wrapped up a bilateral series win in 2006 – the first time they an ODI series in Pakistan.
